Baby Shark Do Do Do Do Do Do

Hello Friends I am super happy to be sharing with you again!   I had so much fun creating this colorful slimline card I hope you like it! Since the first time I saw this MFT die I was in love!

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting this fun MFT Baby Shark Die-namics with different colors of cardstock.
You can do them in any color, I added a little shading to the sharks with Oxide Inks for dimention.

To adhere together the shark mouth I found that it is easier to assemble the teeth and the inside part of the mouth and then adhere the mouth part.

To continue with this card I did the card background, I wanted a deep sea feel, I used oxide inks in colors Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Mermaid Lagoon, for the sand piece I used Trinity Stamps
Slimline Scenic Border Dies I used Vintage Photo Oxide ink for the edges and splashed some vintage photo drops of water as well as some white acrilic paint mixed with water for some tesxture of the sand.

I also cut  two panels of the Lawn Fawn Bayou Bakdrop on a light green cardstock and shadede it with Lucky Clover Oxide Ink.

Aftter I had all my diecus ready and shaded I started planning where to put all the elements on this card-.  I adhere the sand and sharks and cut some leaves from the bayou die to glue them behind the sharks... I finished this card by gluing some irridescent bubbles.  I love this die I can almost here them singing.... Baby Shark!!!

I hope you are safe, thank you so much for joining me today for this fun tutorial.

All the products used to create this card can be found on the Butterflyreflections Ink Shop!

Dry Embossing Technique

Hello Friends this week at the Always Fun Challenges
the theme is "Dry Embossing"

I created this card with a technique I learned from the
Awesome Jennifer Mcguire Link to her video
"Dry embossing with Die Cuts"

I used a very old Spellbinder Die cut for the technique
and added a little color with blue sparkle washi tape and
a stripe of green cardstock
The stamp sets are from My Favorite Things:
Penguins in Paradise
Label Maker Sentiments.

I hope you can join us and have fun!

Zombie Piggie

This starting week I want to share the next tag for my Halloween series
 "From Delightful to Frightful"
This next spookie piggie is the zombie one!

Let me show you how you can turn this cute piggie into this zombie piggie

I use the Hog Heaven stamp set from MFT, the little tombs from the Spooktacular Lawn Fawn Set
and a Spellbinder die called Graveyard Scenes
Let's see how to turn this cutie to that frightful zombie

The first thing I did was the eye... I did a bigger eye and put some scars on the face,
and with a fine pen draw his torn shirt.
After that I used two different shades of green:
with the lighter green color the hole piggie and put some little points
in different sizes to make the skin zombie looking

For the background I use Distress Inks in colors Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed

And here It is the Piggie Zombie ready to go hunting for some bloooood!!

Hope you like it, have a wonderful day thanks for visiting my blog!
If you think someone you know will like this tutorial please share!

MFT Frightful Friends card

Hello, there... I want to share how I did this spooky card with you...

First I cut from my new MFT Die-namics Double Stitched Stax a watercolor paper

For this card I use the Smooshing Technique, with some Distress ink in candid apple and some water. To do this technique you need to use a transparency and smooshed it in the distress ink

Like this...

And after that you smooshed the transparency sheet with the distress ink right into the paper... this is a great effect to create a more artistic look sometimes but in this card I wanted to look like blood!!!

Then I start stamping with my memento ink because I was going to use some markers for the coloring, I want to say this MFT Frightful Friends stamp set is one of my all time favorites.

I did some basic coloring... and I put some Embossing Powder to the dracula wings to give it a little bit of sparkle

I had this Spellbinders Graveyard Scenes Die for so long, I can even remember... I use just part of this die cut.

After that I started to assemble all the card!!

And BOO!!!! This card is done... I love the bloody look....
For the materials they are highlight in red if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Beware Halloween is Coming!

I Love Halloween.....I was not always like that, let me tell you,  I lived in USA for almost two years, and I experience there all the fun, on this Holiday.... I wanted to have it here too with my own family.... So we have a big great party, we wear costumes, ask for candy and even though not many people in Guatemala get to Celebrate Halloween we do and a bunch of friends... The best part is to decorate... since I can not decorate outside my house (we don't have enough space) we decorate the inside, it is so  much fun... my kids look forward for October to come....
So after my little story... this is one of my many, many Halloween cards... For this one I use:

MFT Frightful Friends Stamp Set
Distress ink Candid Apple
Spellbinders Graveyard Scenes

I can not tell you how much fun I am having creating all this spooky cards I think this are my favorites so far.....  So stay tuned for all this fun cards if you want to start getting into the spirit of Halloween

Have a great day
