It is a Pijama Party!!! Good Bye to CDD...

Hello CDD Fans Waleska here from craftinglovew, to share with you my last post as a Design Team Member... The theme for this week is "Not a card project" so I got creative inspired on the coming Pijama Party my daughter will be having this Friday!! She loves trolls, I used the Twinkle Twinkle stamp set, so she was thrilled with this little details for her party!!!  It is so fun to craft and even though I love making cards it is so refreshing to do different projects too...

PROJECT DETAILS:

To start this projects I cut a strip of white cardstock 16 x 25 cms to create the milk wrap, I used oxide inks to create the night sky in colors Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves and Black Soot.  To finish the night look I did some splashes with white paint to be the starts.  I adhere the cute girl troll in her pijamas in the center... (so adorable!!!!)

To create the box I used the Treat Bag Die, I cut the two pieces to ensemble the treat bag, and masked around the front of the bag to ink only the front.  I used the same colors I mention before to create the night sky and added white splashes and cute troll.  I am thinking on putting the names of my daughter´s friends on a small tag attached to the bag. What do you think??

I am also thinking on giving them my daughter´s favorite cookies and give them some chocolates inside the treat bag. Sweet enough???

I hope I inspire you to create some cute accesories for your parties!!!! I had the best time on the CDD Team, I learned a lot and made some amazing friends!!! Take care thank you so much for all your kindness during my time as a DT Member!!!

Keep on Crafting!!!

Love,

To create this cards I repeatedly stamped the same sentiment on a front white panel with the same color of ink.  To accentuate the sentiment I use black letters and a black Raven card base!!   This set has lots of different sentiments so you can make this card design for many occasions and have many cards on hand when needed.

For this second design I made a heart mask and stamped inside the shape to create this fun word pattern inside the heart and added the black letters for a focal point on the card.

Sea You Soon! Good Bye to the Drive by Crafts Design Team...

Hello Friends Waleska here from craftinglovew with my last post on the Drive by Crafts Design Team.  Time definetely flies when you are having fun!!! I loved my time on this team and sharing with you my ideas!!! For my last card of course I wanted to create a scene with some of my favorite Lawn Fawn sets from all time, some old and some new!! This long card is very colorful and shows lots of different characters and must haves if you are like me and enjoy making cute cards.

CARD DETAILS:

I started with the card base which is a letter size sheet fold in half, I cut 2 inches so it can fit inside a long business envelope.  I cut different sizes of water waves and colored them with oxide inks in colors: Faded Jeans, Peacoack Feathers, Mermaid Lagoon and Salty Ocean.  For the little island I used Kraft Cardstock, I splashed all the waves with water for a realistic water look.

For the sky I used Squeezed Lemonade and Carved Pumpking Oxide Inks.  I planned my scene from top to bottom, my inspiration was an image I found of the ocean with lots and lots of little fishes.  I started stamping and coloring all the characters I wanted to use and placing them on the card without adhering them.  I build this big scene little by little and I tried to use kind of the same colors for a harmonic feel.

After I knew exactly where I wanted all my images I started adhering them to my card, with glue and some with 3D foam.  I used a white gel pen to draw attention to some parts of the images and some glitter glue for sparkle.  I finally stamped the sentiment with black ink.

I hope I inspire you to mix and match some of your stamp sets with this card!!!! I had the best time on the Drive by Crafts Team, I learned a lot and made some great friends!!! Take care and thank you so much for all your kindness during my time as a DT Member!!!

Keep on Crafting!!!

June 2018 Kindred Stamps Release!!!

Hello Friends, today I am super excited to introduce you to one of the new and totally cool new stamp set from the Kindred Stamps June Release:  Detention Friends... I love this set and I created two fun school inspired cards with this Friends.  You will love this new set.

CARD DETAILS #1:

For card #1 I created a classroom, I found this cream cardstock that totally reminds me of a classroom I was in a looong time ago!  I cut the board with the Silhouette Cameo, I resize it so it can look good with the characters.  With white embossing powder I embossed one of the sentiments from the set.  (This guy totally deserves detention)  I color the floor with faded jeans oxide ink and color the boy and girl with markers.

CARD DETAILS #2:

For this two rebels I wanted to create a scene on the lockers... Again with the silhouette cameo I resize and cut 5 lockers to create the background for this friends, I glue them one beside the other and use black cardstock for some open areas.  I adhere the boys infront of the lockers and I added the sentiment in one corner.

I have to say I had so much fun with this cute Friends creating little school scenes, I hope I inspire you to use your electric cutting machine to create little scenes for all the Kindred Stamps characters.

The other sets coming out are so cute and I hope you enjoy them too!! As always, make sure you hop along with the blog hop to be entered into the drawing for a $10 store credit.  Please come join us at the Kindred Stamps Fan Club to see fun all month long and share your projects too!!

Watercolor Powder Flowers

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a blog hop at the Brutus Monroe blog featuring a product or technique of the week!, all the Design Team works very hard to share great inspiration with you!! You can find the hop HERE.   This week we are showcasing  "Watercolor Tips".   Today I will be focusing on the beautiful Brutus MonroeWatercolor Powder Rouge...

CARD DETAILS:

I started by creating the background for the flowers.   I used Brutus Monroe Watercolor paper, I put a little of the Watercolor powder in the center of the card and to achieve the soft splashes I add very little water with a brush.  I also added some black splashes to unify the design.

For the flowers I stamped them on Brutus Monroe Watercolor Cardstock with Brutus Monroe Embossing ink and Raven Embossing powder.  I added water to all the stamped flowers and added the powder.  I really like the irregular look of the color.  To finish the card I adhere the flowers and stamped the sentiment.

Don´t miss the Design Team projects using watercolor technics this week!!!  Hop along with us!!! and be inspired by this talented ladies:

Pool Party Unicorn

Hello CDD Fans, Waleska here to share with you on Day 4 of our June Release the new Stamp Set "100% Magical"... This set is truly magical with lots of summer Unicorns having fun in the Sun, I know you will love this  new set.  I created this adorable unicorn having fun on a pool maybe in her backyard or on a friend's house... let me share with you now I create this fun card.

CARD DETAILS:

To make this card, I created my own glitter paper by putting Double Sided adhesive tape  (you can find this at the CDD Shop in various sizes) on a white card base and then adding the colored glitter I wanted.  I loove the look of glitter shiny water don´t you?

This adhesive works great and the glitter stays very well.  I then cut this piece with a wave die from the Ocean Border Dies to create the pool water, with a strip of gray cardstock I created the pool border.

I also wanted to create a wood fence, to do that I cut a strip of kraft cardstock, with a scoring board I score every 1/2 inch to create the wood logs after that I used distress inks in a swiping motion in the bottom and on top with colors Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo.  You should totally try this technique the wood looks awesome.

For the Sun I used the Bright Horizons Stencil with two Oxide inks colors Squeezed Lemonade and  Fossilized Amber.  I adhere every piece to the front part of the card, with an exacto knife I cut a little line in the glitter water to put the unicorn floating.  I finally stamped the sentiment in the right up corner of the card.

I hope you like this card as much as I do and can be as excited as we are for this new Release!!!  Be ready to get your new stamps and dies from this release on June 15th at 3pm.

Have a wonderful day!!!
