MFT Frightful Friends card

Hello, there... I want to share how I did this spooky card with you...

First I cut from my new MFT Die-namics Double Stitched Stax a watercolor paper

For this card I use the Smooshing Technique, with some Distress ink in candid apple and some water. To do this technique you need to use a transparency and smooshed it in the distress ink

Like this...

And after that you smooshed the transparency sheet with the distress ink right into the paper... this is a great effect to create a more artistic look sometimes but in this card I wanted to look like blood!!!

Then I start stamping with my memento ink because I was going to use some markers for the coloring, I want to say this MFT Frightful Friends stamp set is one of my all time favorites.

I did some basic coloring... and I put some Embossing Powder to the dracula wings to give it a little bit of sparkle

I had this Spellbinders Graveyard Scenes Die for so long, I can even remember... I use just part of this die cut.

After that I started to assemble all the card!!

And BOO!!!! This card is done... I love the bloody look....
For the materials they are highlight in red if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Beware Halloween is Coming!

I Love Halloween.....I was not always like that, let me tell you,  I lived in USA for almost two years, and I experience there all the fun, on this Holiday.... I wanted to have it here too with my own family.... So we have a big great party, we wear costumes, ask for candy and even though not many people in Guatemala get to Celebrate Halloween we do and a bunch of friends... The best part is to decorate... since I can not decorate outside my house (we don't have enough space) we decorate the inside, it is so  much fun... my kids look forward for October to come....
So after my little story... this is one of my many, many Halloween cards... For this one I use:

MFT Frightful Friends Stamp Set
Distress ink Candid Apple
Spellbinders Graveyard Scenes

I can not tell you how much fun I am having creating all this spooky cards I think this are my favorites so far.....  So stay tuned for all this fun cards if you want to start getting into the spirit of Halloween

Have a great day

Eat all your Veggies!

Hello Hello..... there is no secret I loooove Lawn Fawn Stamps and Dies.... don't get me wrong there are some amazing stamp companies but there is something Special with this cute little stamps that make me want them all.... Today I want to share a little tutorial with you on this cutie:

I use some of my new umbrella crafts inks... and I will use this post to say how amazing this inks are.... for the longest time I wanted different colors of inks but did not have the money, so when Scrapbook.com had an amazing discount on this inks I finaly bought them... I now have 24 colors and they are awesome... so first I stamped the solid veggies in colors:
Cantaloupe
Purple Plum
Ruby Red
Peaches`n Cream

Then I use the green colors to stamp the little details on the veggies leafs in colors
Fresh Cut Grass
Lemon Lime

I use my memento for the cute faces

This is a fun part I want to share... I wanted a bowl so I use the one on the ON THE MEND Lawn Fawn Set, but didn't want the face on the bowl so I cover the face with some post it tape,  I cut to fit only on the face part of the stamp, put on some green ink,  remove the post it before I stamp and.... no face on the final stamp image....

I wanted the veggies to be inside the bowl so with an exacto knife I cut only where I wanted the veggies to go inside the bowl

I finally added some cardstock and patterned paper to the card and to give it some dimension I use some double sided tape... because I wanted to have a sentiment I came up, I printed the sentiment with some font that look lawnfawny!!! hahaha

I hope you enjoy this little tutorial....
