Colorful Panda Party/Sunny Studio Stamps

Hi friends! If you love Pandas and Rainbows this card is for you!  For my card today I used the Panda Party Stamps, the Big Bold Sentiments and lots of colors!

CARD DETAILS:

I wanted to create a very colorful card having a contrasting color, in this case black, and to do that I used colorful backgrounds with black and white cute pandas.   I started by cutting the Comic Strip Everyday Dies on white cardstock and coloring each of the panels with Oxide inks:
Candied Apple, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Salty Ocean and Wilted Violet, I almost always like to add more interest to my inked pieces with water and sparkle watercolor.  I adhere this pieces to the comic strip inspired die.  I stamped and color all of the pandas, cupcakes and banners with copic markers and hand cut them.

I stamped and cut with the coordinating dies the sentiment Make a Wish from the Big Bold Greetings set and adhere all the cute pandas.  I finally adhered this panel to a white card base and this card is done! Ready to wish happy birthday someone special.  Thank you friends for stopping by today! I hope you feel inspired to create some birthday cards!

Birthday Bus to a Beach Party!

Hi Everyone, today I have a fun and colorful birthday scene card with the adorable Birthday Bus critters from Avery Elle.  I've wanted to create a card with this fun little set for a long time, I am so happy I could finally use it... I love this little stamp sets from different companies because the prize is great and you can pair them with lots of other sets you already own.  You can find this and other small stamp sets at the shop.

CARD DETAILS:

My creating process starts with a color combo I want to use for the entire card, I almost always try to use only the colors I choose, three or four colors I find work great for a design.  I color the cute birthday bus with markers in the colors I already choose to start and work from that.

I then started with the background, to color the background I used Mermaid Lagoon Oxide Ink with some water splashes.  I cut a strip of black cardstock for the road and with a wave die I cut from kraft cardstock the sand, I wanted this party to be at the beach.

I adhere everything to the front of the card and frame the scene with a rectangle frame die I colored in the same hot pink color I used on the bus...to complete the beach look I needed a palm tree, this palm tree is part of the MFT Beach Scene Builder Die-namic, (a must have die set, if you ask me), I colored it also with markers.

I finally stamped the sentiment with black ink and added some nuvo drops in the same tones.  I hope you like this happy birthday beach card,  I wish you have a wonderful rest of the week...

Cake Stamp Set with Embossing Powder Accents

Hello Friends thank you for visiting my blog, for another Quick Tip Wednesday, today I have a fun Birthday Card with the new Brutus Monroe Topsy Cakes Stamp Set".  In the Brutus Monroe Blog there is hop where you can find lots of inspiration on how to use this set please visit the other Design Team members blogs for more ideas HERE.

QUICK TIP:

My Quick Tip today is to put embossed accents to your stamped images to accentuate some parts and give a different look and shine to your card.  This set is full of funky looking cakes with lots of layers... I loove chocolate cake so (of course) I colored this cake with different tones of brown, I used Metallic Embossing Powder Gilded to give shine to some layers of the cake.

I used different tones of green ink and I give the center on the card a lighter green color to accentuate the chocolate cake, I punch circles in different sizes with gold cardstock and glue the front panel to kraft cardstock and gold cardstock.

The new Brutus Monroe Embossing Powders are perfect for this quick tip, their beautiful and very shiny colors come in this two new collections: Spring and Summer, you can find them at the shop HERE.

Now is your turn, use embossing powders to give shine to your stamped images and give your cards some glow!!  Remember also to join us at the Brutus Monroe Fan Club to know the latest news from Christopher and lots of inspiration from the Design Team HERE.

Duh Nuh... Let´s Party

Hello Friends It is Monday... my kids are in school again... and I miss them.... yes.... but, I am so happy I have time again to create! I made this card for the current Lawnfawnatics Challenge #8 Summertime Fun! I made a very funny little scene that reminds me to the Finding Nemo movie... with the big Sharks and the small fishes! What can be  more fun on Summer than a Party!!!

CARD DETAILS:

I used Oxide inks in colors Broken China and Faded Jeans to create the ocean color. I used a Stencil I made with the Silhouette Cameo for the waves and create the effect by spraying water to the stencil... It looks awesome when dries! I added Nuvo Crystal Drops-Morning Dew to create bubbles the little fish is from the Fintastic Friends stamp set and the party hats, presets and cake are from Party Animal stamp set! I looove Lawn Fawn Stamps, I would never stop saying how much I appreciate a company that makes stamps that coordinate so well you can use them for many occasions and you can mix and match! They are absolutely my obsession!

I hope you have a great day!

Birthday..Bean Sweet!

Today I am so excited to share my first entry to the new
Lawnfawnatics Challenge from Lawn Fawn
I missed so much the Lawnscaping Challenge
so happy for this.
The first theme is "Birthday"

For this card I use the new
How you Bean stamp set
I tried to keep all the card with the same
colors as the lawn fawn pattern paper

For the jar I used Distress Ink
Tumbled Glass to give it the look of glass

I loove Lawn Fawn products and I declare
myself a Lawn Fawn Addict and Fawnatic!
