To create this card I started by creating the background for the card, I wanted to make a galaxy looking background to do that I used my beloved oxide inks in colors, Mustard Seed, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Salty Ocean and Black Soot.  I mixed all the colors using a foam brush and at the end I  used the black soot on the edges and in the middle of the panel too.  I splashed some water drops and also some silver watercolor to create the stars.

I then diecut the Cloud Frame Cover plate with white cardstock.  I created a shaker by adhering some acetate to this panel and adding some irridescent stars and sequins.  I diecut the rest of the elements with black glittered cardstock and adhere it to the front of the shaker card, and also the sentiment.

This was a supe fun card to make I love how this elements work so well together that fairy looks super cute.

You are a Killer Slimline card/ Whimsy Stamps Guest Designer

Hello Friends!!! Waleska Galindo here from craftinglovew super happy to share with you my second post as this month's Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps.  I am crazy for the new Lookin' Shark stamp set, I have a crazy love for shark stamps and this one is definetely one of my favorites so far.  I mixed this funny stamp set with the Slimline Connected Bubbles die set to create an underwater card.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started with the background.  For the background I used Oxide inks in colors Peacock Feathers in the middle of the panel then I used Salty Ocean and on the edges I used Lucky Clover I blended this tree colors very well and added some water splashes for more texture and to create the under water feel to this panel.

I set this panel aside to dry and I die cut six of the Slimline Connected Bubbles die and adhere them together so they can have dimention.  I then put glue around the bubbles and add sparkling glitter to them, they look super fun with the dimention and glitter.

I colored the super adorable and fun Sharks with Tri-blend Spectrum Noir markers in colors Ice Grey Blend, Dark Red Blend and Jade Green Blend I cut them and adhere them to the back of the biggest bubbles so they will look like they are inside the bubbles.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink and glue this panel to a white card base.

I had so much fun creating this card, I want to thank Whimsy Stamps for the amazing opportunity to design with ther awesome products I love it!!! I hope you can be inspired to create some fun summer cards with Whimsy Stamps products and remember to stay safe and stay crafty! hugs!!!

Whimsy Stamps Picnic Day Slimline Card/ Guest Design

Hello Friends!!! Waleska Galindo here from craftinglovew super happy today to be sharing with you my first project for this month as Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps I have been a fan of their amazing products for a long time and I am very honored to be Guest Designing today!  For my first card I used the cute and funny stamp set "Ants at a Picnic" I mixed this set with the Slimline Meadow Die set to create a fun and relaxed Summer Scene.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started by die cuttting the Slimline Meadow die set from white cardstock, I then inkblended this front panel with the new distress ink Rustic Wilderness, I also inkblend another panel to create the sky for the scene also with distress inks in colors Kitsch Flamingo and Mustard Seed I love this two colors together for summer. I splashed some water drops for more texture.

I then colored the cute ants with tri-blend markers in colors Dark Red blend, Bright Pink Blend, Citrus Blend and Jade Green blend.  I started creating this fun scene by placing the two first ants into the grass to make them look like they are having fun eating and enjoying a summer day, I love this slimline die set because you can put almost any image into the grass and make it look like part of the scene.

I adhered the sky panel and the flying ant into the scene with 3D foam tape.  I also added some clouds from the Slimline Meadow die.  I finally glue this panel to a slimline kraft cardstock cardbase and stamped the sentiment in the corner of the card.

I had so much fun creating this card, I hope you can be inspired to create some fun summer cards and remember to stay safe and stay crafty! hugs!!!
