CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I was very inspired by the Designer Toner Sheet Marble I totally think It looks like a spooky night sky... So I wanted to create a spooky night scene.  I started by foiling the toner sheet with red Deco Foil.  That was the base for my scene... With Raven cardstock I cut a halloween border and to make it even more spooky I add some bats flying around.

I stamped the Vampire and I wanted to make his cape shinny, to make that I also foiled only his cape by stamping it on a black toner sheet and I foiled it with the same red foil I used for the background. I finally stamped the sentiment with Alabaster Embossing Powder.

Hello Friends welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe Stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a Blog Hop at the Brutus Monroe Blog featuring a product or technique of the week!  This week we  want to share with you some watercolor inspiration with you!!!   Brutus Monroe has an amazing new line of  watercolors called Aqua Pigments, the colors are beautiful collection.. you really need to check them out!!! As soon as I have mine I will totally tell you more about them! For my project today I use Color Burst Watercolor powder.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started by choosing the Brutus Monroe Heavy Watercolor Cardstock... this cardstock is amazing... it takes lots of water for your watercolor projects.  I stamp the Conservatory of Quotes on the smooth side of the cardstock with Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink and I use Alabaster Embossing Powder for a more dramatic look.

All you need is a little bit of powder to create an amazing look...I see having this color burst for a long time!!! I then use a green watercolor to paint the leaves and splash some green for a contrast.  To finish I mounted the watercolored panel to a Jurassic Cardstock base and stamped the beautiful sentiment.

I went to my friends house recently and I was inmediately in love with a weath she had on her door... here in Guatemala is so rare for people to celebrate or evern more decorate for halloween.  I am so happy and excited every time I find people that does all this things I love to do... so I saw it and I knew I wanted to recreate her wreath on a card... and Monica´s new digital image was perfect for that.   I started by cutting the wreath in black cardstock... this die is Gina Marie designs... (one of my favorites I must say) I then print and size the Frida image and colored it with markers.... I cut her to use only her face... and I had the idea of putting some gems for more color and bling!!! and it looks amazing!!!!  here is a closer look...

I wanted to add some flowers too so I used some lawn fawn small die flowers I had and also added some gems.   My three main colors where pink blue and green and a touch of yellow... for the background I used Oxide Ink Picked Rasberry and some water splashes!!!

Isn´t she so boootiful??? I looove this card I could totally be my favorite from this 2018 halloween card series... what do you say?  I hope you have an amazing Saturday!!!

Spooky Scene/Kinda Cute Digital Stamps October Guest Designer

Hello Friends today I am super excited to announce I am the October guest designer for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez... every Friday of October starting today, I will be sharing some card inspiration using some cute, cute, cute images from the amazing digis from Patricia, let me share my first project using  the Mummy Boy digital stamp.

CARD DETAILS:

To start this card I wanted to do one of my favorite things... which is ink blending, for an amazing background.... I used Oxide inks in colors Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Wilted Violet and add some water splashes here and there...

One of the things I always mention that I love about working with digital stamps is that you can resize them, print all the images you want and you can use them for many things, working with them is amazing... so next I used the silhuette studio program to size and print all the images I wanted to work with and I colored them with markers.

To create this spooky scene I used some black trees and bats and finally adhere the images and stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink.... Want to hang out with them?????

Here is a closer look of the colored the images on the scene.

This is card #9 on my Halloween Card Series 2018.... if you are a Halloween Fan... don´t forget to follow me and this series of some of my favorite old and new stamps for the season.

I want to thank Patricia for the opportunity to design with her amazingly cute images and I encourage you to check out the great selection of images she has at her store!!!

Have an amazing weekend!!!
