I'll be home for Christmas/Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends! I happy to be back to share more Christmas inspiration for you! This Christmas card is very colorful and I was inspired by one of my favorite Christmas song "I'll be home for Christmas"... The recently released Christmas Collection is amazing! There is something for everyone! Check it out at the Scrappy Tails Shop.

PROJECT DETAILS:

To start this card I die cut the Round Swirl Snowflake Ornament Craft Die with red and silver cardstock I added some shading with Oxide inks Lumberjack Plaid and Vintage Photo.  I then cut the Layering Christmas Bug Craft Die with a light blue cardstock and used Salty Ocean Oxide ink to shade it.  For the Christmas tree I used Rustic Wilderness Oxide for the shading.

I then cut some mat layering pieces from red and green cardstock in the same shade I used before and added the same oxide inks to create more dimension, I finally used some splashes of  sparkle watercolor to create the snowlike feel.  Such a fun scene!  I hope this inspires you to create some Christmas cards!  Have a wonderful day!

Penguin Party Stamps Sunny Studio Stamps

 Hello there!

I have a fun penguin card to share with you today using the Penguin Party Stamps.  For my card today I used a some of my favorite oxide ink colors.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started with the background I inked a piece of white cardstock with oxide inks in colors Shaded Lilac, Kitsch Flamingo and Salvaged Patina, I then cut a snow hill from white cardstock.  I stamped and color the cute penguins (it was hard to choose from all the adorable penguins on this set).  I stamped some snowflakes with versamark ink and added white embossing powder, I cut and inked them with the same colors I used for the background and used foam tape to add them to the sky.  I added some iridescent stars and the sentiment fun and festive at the bottom of this panel.

I adhered this panel to a lilac frame and then a white cardbase, I love the fun faces of this penguins, they are definitely enjoying the cold weather.  Thank you for stopping by, have a wonderful rest of your day!

Holiday Shaker Tags/ Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello Friends!!

It is Thursday that means I have a new Sunny Studio Stamps project for you!  I am very excited to share the tags I created with the new Mini Mat and Tag #4 dies, I hope I can share inspiration that will get you excited to create!

PROJECT DETAILS:

I love this tag dies, they are beautiful and very easy to use.  I started this shaker tags by die cutting them with kraft cardstock, I wanted to use some non traditional Christmas colors for them so, I decided to go with pink, purple and teal.  To ink the inside of the shaker I used oxide inks in colors Kitsch Flamingo, Shaded Lilac and Peacock Feathers.  I used matching glitter for the shakers.  I added an embossed vellum  poinsettia from the Classy Christmas Stamps.
I  wanted to create a card with one of the tags, to do that I used the Moroccan Circles Embossing Folder for the front panel of the card inked with the same color I used for the shaker and I frame it with the Fancy Frames Rectangle Dies in kraft cardstock.

To finish the rest of the tags I added some Sunny Studio Pastel Jewels in the center, the sentiment Noel is also from the Classy Christmas stamps stamped with Versafine Clair Nocturne.  Finally I mixed some white acrilic paint with water and splatter some onto the tags to simulate snow.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope your day is full of crafty time!

Nutcracker Snowy Card/ Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Scrappy Tail Craft Fans, Waleska here for my first post for the month of December! This is my first time using the Nutcracker Spinner Add on and I have to say I looove it!  It is so fun to put together you can make them from different colors and make all kinds of cards with it!  I hope you like it and can be inspired with it!

CARD DETAILS:

To start this card I cut all the pieces that come on the Nutcracker Spinner Add on from different colors of cardstock.  I found a color combo I wanted to use so it was easy to use this color on all the elements of this fun die.  The color combo I used was pink, red, black and gold.

I then cut the two ovals that come on the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die from green and kraft cardstock, I also cut some leaves from the Assorted Christmas Leaves from two different green cardstock.  I adhered the nutcracker to the oval pieces and I also added the leaves.  I add Distress Grit Paste to the leaves for a snowy look.

To fishish this card I glue everything to a cardbase piece I made with kraft, white and red cardstock.  I added some splatter snow with acrilic pain mixed with water and some gold pearls.  I love this card I hope you like it too it was so much fun to create.  I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day, thank you so much for stopping by!

Elegant Gold and White Advent Calendar

Hello Scrappy Tail Friends, Waleska Galindo here to share my Second Design Team post of the Month, I have been very busy with the new School year preparation but here I am super happy to play with some of my favorite Scrappy Tail products.  For today's post I used the Slimline Birdhouse Pop Up die and I also used the Advent Calendar Add-on to make a very easy buy elegant advent calendar.  I hope you like it.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started by die cutting all my pieces from white and gold cardstock, for the house I always try to use a heavyweight cardstock to make sure my house will last longer.  I then started assemble my Advent Calendar.  We have many different videos on the Scrappy Tail Crafts youtube channel if you want more details, but it is super easy to assemble.

I love the elegant look of the white and gold together.  To adhere the numbers I suggest you use glossy accents since they are very delicate.  I adhere a gold backing to the house so when you open the little doors you will find  the gold and some beautiful snowflakes, but you can put anything you want inside, this die comes with many cute christmas icons to decorate it and we also have a stamp set if you prefer.

I love all the gold details! as I told you before you can personalize this advent calendar with the colors you want! I am planning to have lots of gold and white on my christmas decorations this year so that is why I choose this colors today!

I hope you have an amazing weekend! Remember this and the latest released products are available on the shop now.

Each designer along the hop will be showcasing new products from the release, so there will be plenty of Christmas and Holiday card inspiration!

CARD DETAILS:

To start my card I cut all the pieces I was going to need to create this fun 3D house, my idea was to create a gingerbread house so i knew what elements i needed. I cut the house from kraft cardstock and I added vintage photo oxide ink on the edges, I also added some splashes of the same color and white splashes with acrilic paint mixed with water, this gave the effect of gingerbread in my opinion. I then started to assemble the house with three main colors white, pink, teal and green.

I finally added some glitter here and there to make it look like snow...

It was so much fun to assembre this house adding all the details and make it as cute as possible. All the details are from the new accesories German and American Christmas house add on I love it because it is totally 3D.

Singing Doggie

Hola, this is my second take on the Textured-Field Lawnscaping Challenge

That is definitely one of the main reasons I love so much Lawn Fawn Stamp sets.... You can use them in so many different ways..... The scene lovers like me
can do wonders with them.... I hope I can have them all.....
right now I have let's see?....31 haha that's a lot don't tell my husband hahaha
