Countdown to Christmas Scrappy Tail Crafts Hop

Welcome to the Scrappy Tails Craft’s Countdown to Christmas blog and video inspiration hop! Today, we are hopping along to celebrate the launch of our new Holiday collection! Each designer along the hop will be showcasing new products from the release, so there will be plenty of Christmas and Holiday card inspiration!

CARD DETAILS:

To start my card I cut all the pieces I was going to need to create this fun 3D house, my idea was to create a gingerbread house so i knew what elements i needed. I cut the house from kraft cardstock and I added vintage photo oxide ink on the edges, I also added some splashes of the same color and white splashes with acrilic paint mixed with water, this gave the effect of gingerbread in my opinion. I then started to assemble the house with three main colors white, pink, teal and green.

I finally added some glitter here and there to make it look like snow...

It was so much fun to assembre this house adding all the details and make it as cute as possible. All the details are from the new accesories German and American Christmas house add on I love it because it is totally 3D.

  9. I saw a Gingerbread House as soon as I saw the photo, so your opinion is correct. The colors you used scream Gingerbread! I love what you did with this set. When I first saw the set, I never thought of Gingerbread House. But it works so well. I also don't know how to make it so my name appears in the comments!!
