Sassy and Crafty/Guest Designer

Hello Friends I am very excited to share with you a card I created as a Guest Designer for Sassy and Crafty with the cute Peaches Unicorn I had so much fun creating this colorful card I specially love this Rock Star Unicorn from the set! Check out all their amazing stamps and products you will love them

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I used a rainbow die cut and I put some glitter embossing powder for sparkle, I wanted to create some shine to acccentuate this cute Rockstar to do that, I cut a star and adhered sparkling sequins to fill it.  I left it to dry for a while and started coloring my image.

I copic colored the image and highlighted some of it with a white gel pen.  I adhered the image to the sparkling star and added to the center of my card.

I did a second card exactly the same!!!

The first base of my cards are from gray cardstock and the second base is from black cardstock to continue with the cute rockstar theme!  Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you are safe wherever you might be! Remember to Stay Sassy and Crafty ;)

Pool Party Unicorn

Hello CDD Fans, Waleska here to share with you on Day 4 of our June Release the new Stamp Set "100% Magical"... This set is truly magical with lots of summer Unicorns having fun in the Sun, I know you will love this  new set.  I created this adorable unicorn having fun on a pool maybe in her backyard or on a friend's house... let me share with you now I create this fun card.

CARD DETAILS:

To make this card, I created my own glitter paper by putting Double Sided adhesive tape  (you can find this at the CDD Shop in various sizes) on a white card base and then adding the colored glitter I wanted.  I loove the look of glitter shiny water don´t you?

This adhesive works great and the glitter stays very well.  I then cut this piece with a wave die from the Ocean Border Dies to create the pool water, with a strip of gray cardstock I created the pool border.

I also wanted to create a wood fence, to do that I cut a strip of kraft cardstock, with a scoring board I score every 1/2 inch to create the wood logs after that I used distress inks in a swiping motion in the bottom and on top with colors Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo.  You should totally try this technique the wood looks awesome.

For the Sun I used the Bright Horizons Stencil with two Oxide inks colors Squeezed Lemonade and  Fossilized Amber.  I adhere every piece to the front part of the card, with an exacto knife I cut a little line in the glitter water to put the unicorn floating.  I finally stamped the sentiment in the right up corner of the card.

I hope you like this card as much as I do and can be as excited as we are for this new Release!!!  Be ready to get your new stamps and dies from this release on June 15th at 3pm.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Reverse Confetti Pattern Paper Card

Hello Friends!!! Waleska here with another card for the Butterfly Reflections Ink blog to share a very fun and graphic card with lots of pattern paper and paper piecing, inspired on the illustrator of this Reverse Confetti images Dawn Machell.

CARD DETAILS:

For this card my main inspiration was Dawn Machell illustrations, she uses lots of different patterns on her images, she combines bright colors and graphic patterns to create AWESOME illustrations.  I started by choosing the pattern paper I wanted to use, there are lots of  Pattern Papers for you to choose at the shop.  I find one that would look well combined together on my card.  I used the new Reverse Confetti Magical Day Stamp Set and the Unicorn Wishes Stamp Set.  I loove long cards, because they give me the chance to use more stamps and do bigger scene cards, this one measures 4.5 by 8 inches long.  I stamp the tree, unicorn and dragon on the pattern paper with Versafine Onyx Black Ink so the black outline of the images could be more black.

I combined different colors of the pattern paper for the images and hand cut some of the details so that all the images can be color balanced, like the hair, tail and unicorn horn from this cute unicorn.  I glue the details with Mono Multi Liquid Glue.  This little details make the images look different and so cool.  I die cut two hills with the lawn fawn simple stitched hillside border dies to create a magical forest.  To color the background I used Oxide Ink Fossilized Amber.

To finish it up I used some hearts to embellish the up part of my card and stamped the GREAT sentiment from the Unicorn Wishes Stamp Set.  I hope you like this card and give paper piecing a try!
Remember the good news!!! Butterfly Reflections Ink shop is now carrying Stamp Market Stamps and there is still time to shop some Hero Arts goodies with 25% off with the code HERO25 until Friday!!

Have a Magical Day!

Pastel Unicorns

Welcome to my blog....
with this card I am starting a
new adventure that I just know will be so much
fun and will give me the opportunity to meet
more amazing people.

This card is my first one on the New Blog

where I am part of their Design Team
I invite you to participate and have FUN!!!

The Challenge #1
Anything Goes

For my card Today I used the new and Amazing
Oxide Inks
I currently own 8 colors but my favorites would be:

1. Cracked Pistachio
2.Worn Lipstick
3. Broken China
4. Faded Jeans

The first thing I did was sponging the Worn Lipstick
Oxide ink directly to my paper and next I flick
Cracked Pistachio and Wilted Violet mixed with water
to my pink piece and because of the water I added
to those two colors they made very vibrant
flicks.

I play a lot with my distress oxides and the end result
I LOVE THEM!
They totally have a new look from other inks.

Hope you can be inspired and start experimenting
with your Oxides if you just don't know if they are
for you I suggest buying two or three, try them
out and then if you like them buy the rest.

Have a wonderful day,

Waleska
