Sparkling Flamingoes

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here, very happy to be sharing some creative time with you today!   I want to share a card I created with some of the newest released products, I am in love with the Flamingo Pair Dies.  For my card today I used a lot of sparkle, let me share how I created it.

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting all the pieces to create the flamingos, (the pieces are very easy to layer) for my flamingos today I used glitter cardstock in two different tones of pink.   For the eyes and beak I used white cardstock.  After I assembled the flamingos I started working on the background.

For the background I inked a 5x7 piece of cardstock with Peacock Feathers Oxide Ink, I then cut the A7 Aloha Tropical Leave cover plate die with a green cardstock and inked this piece with Lucky Clover Oxide ink.  I adhered this two pieces.  I finally cut a smaller rectangle to adhere the flamingos and inked this piece with Kitsch Flamingo Oxide Ink.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and spend some time with me!  I hope you can be inspired to create lots and lots of sparkly flamingoes cards!  Have a great Day!

Flower Shop Collection by Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends Waleska here very excited to share with you the project I created with the newest released products from the Flower Shop Collection.  With this collection you will make the most beautiful 3D projects full of amazing details. Today I created a Flower shop let me share with you how I made it.

CARD DETAILS:

I started by creating the shop base with gray cardstock, I used the Slimline Cobblestone die as a stencil to create the stone texture for the shop with Pumice Stone Oxide Ink.  I then cut with white cardstock all the little details for my flower shop, pots, flowers, cactus windows, doors, fence and bicycle, I colored them with copic markers.

I started by positioning all the elements around the shop, I wanted lots of flowers and two big windows with the word flowers.  For me it was easier to die cut everything from white cardstock and then used the color palette I wanted I even used some inks for some of the flower pots.  I started adhering all this details with 3D foam tape for more dimension.

I then cut the roof with kraft cardstock and inked it with Vintage Photo Oxide Ink and cut a separate piece of the roof with white cardstock to add the bottom detail, and adhere it to the shop.  I also added a Flowers sign on top of the roof, and just like that you have a 3D Flower Shop, you can also create a house, a coffee shop...you can personalize all kinds of projects with this die.

I love all the details you can create with this dies, this flower shop looks beautiful, for more detailed instructions please visit the Scrappy Tail Crafts Youtube where Sabrina has a process video for you to follow on how to assemble this die.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day! Please remember to be happy and crafty!

Sweet Easter Eggs with Scrappy Tail

Hello Friends Waleska here with a very sweet and pastel card using the Spring Essentials Metal dies, this die set comes with 20 dies that you can use to create beautiful spring and easter cards let me share with you how I created this card today.

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today I wanted a Clean and Simple look so I created a focal point on the center of my card using one of the eggs that come in this die set, one thing I really like about this eggs is that they come with two layers so I started by diecutting three eggs with both layers and I inked this pieces with the following oxide inks: Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo and Mustard Seed and the back pieces with the same colors too.

I then adhered this two layers together alternating the 3 colors.  I inked a piece of white cardstock with Salvaged Patina on the edges so all the colors can coordinate.  I also inked another piece smaller than the other starting in the center with Distress Oxide Ink in color Shaded Lilac I also added some sparkle to this piece and I finally adhered everything together and also added the sentiment from Fairy Sentiments and some sequins.
