Divinity Designs Guest Design Cute Monkeys Slimline

Hello Friends today I have this fun Slimline with this adorable monkes from Divinity Designs, and also a bunch other great products also from them.

For my card today I used the Divinity Designs Slimline Card base dies on kraft cardstock.  For my card base I used the Slimline Layering Rectangles.  I used Oxide inks in colors Dried Marigold Mustard Seed and Squeezed Lemonade and I also add some water splashes.

I then planned out my jungle scene with the Divinity Designs Fern Dies and Tropical leaves those I inked with Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover Oxide Inks, I love the texture of the leaves!

I adhered the leaves in place once I was happy with the placement and cut the excess from the borders.  I copic colored my cute monkeys and stack them to fill the slimline card.  I stamped the sentiment at the top of the card and added a kraft Scalloped rectangle die to finish this fun card!

I am super happy to be Guest Designing for this amazing company their dies are really amazing check them out HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and sharing some craty time with me! Stay safe...

Slider Cloud and Rainy Day/Oxide Inks

Hello Friends, Waleska here... I hope your week is awesome so far... My card  today is super cute and rainy, I am a big fan of all the Birdie Brown My Favorite Things Collection, I think this one is one of my top five favorites from all time! Don´t you agree? he is the cutest....

CARD DETAILS:

I started by creating the front panel of my card, using Salty Ocean Oxide ink, I blend the top and bottom of the card leaving the center of the card white.

To give the rainy look to the card I splash lots of water to the ink blended parts, and I also smushed some oxide ink into my craft mat and mix it with a little water and flick that mix to the entire card focusing on the center.  I die cut the slide channel to the front panel and I almost forgot (but thankfully remembered) to stamp the sentiment to the bottom of the panel.  I put lots of double sided foam to the back of this piece to create the slide mechanism I use a coin that I adhere to the puffy cloud.

I finally colored the cute boy in some primary colors and adhere him to the card.  I glue the this piece to an A2 card base, and to make all the colors match I colored around the card base with the same yellow marker I used to color the boy.

This card is perfect for that little boy in your life, the one that loves to play on the rain and makes you happy everyday! I got mine, the one that made me a mom almost nine years ago, this mother's day I celebrate because I am his mom, because some days is exhausting but is ALWAYS FUN... ALWAYS FUN!!!

Slider Cards

Hello Friends Waleska here with another Summer Card for you, I love the Flamingo Floatie Stamp Set from Neat and Tangled, in the minute I saw this cute girl I knew I needed to use it on a Pool Party Summer Card.

CARD DETAILS:

I wanted to create a pool background for the girl to be floating, so I found this technique in youtube let me share it with you because in my opinion it makes a very cool water look.

I started with a background fully colored with Distress Oxide Ink Peacock Feathers (which is my new favorite) after that I used a crumpled ball of Aluminium Foil I sprayed with water and pat down the paper with it to add the water texture to the background, and dry it with a Heat Tool.

I did the second background with two of my favorite Oxide Ink summer colors Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick (this two blend so well together) I created the slider elements with the lawn fawn slide over dies and double Scotch Foam Mounting TapeI color the cute girl with markers and added the water splashes in the same color as the water.

This cards were so much fun to create, I hope you give the water effect idea a try!
