Spooky Witch Mirror/Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends! I hope your day is great, today I wanted to share a very fun project using the amazing just released products from Scrappy Tail Crafts, the die set I will be using today is called Scary Witch Add on and it is intended to work for the fabulous A7 Pumpkin Pop Up but for my card today I used it in a very different way just so you know there are many different ways to use this new add ons.

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today I wanted to make a spooky looking mirror, and what is scarier than an ugly witch on a mirror right?  So I first cut the mirror frame using the Fancy Rose Oval die with gold cardstock I then cut the inside of the frame with green cardstock and used Oxide Ink in color Lucky Clover on the edges, I then cut all the pieces to create the spooky witch using the Scary Witch add on and adhere the pieces to the green piece,  I finally adhere this piece to the frame and just like that you have a scary mirror! in the add on collection you can also find some spooky Draculas too that can also look very cool inside this oval.

To finish this card I cut a black cardbase and created a wallpaper looking piece with purple cardstock and finally added a spider web and the sentiment.  Such a fun card to create! Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope this inspires you to find different ways to stretch your supplies!

Spooky Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die/ Scrappy Tail Crafts project

Hello Friends, today I have a very fun Halloween project using the Spooky Ghosts dies and the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die, this die is very versatile you can use it for many different types of cards, it measures 8 x 3.5 inches, this interactive snow globe stands up for beautiful dimension and allows to suspend, dangle or spin all kinds of elements.

PROJECT DETAILS:

I started by cutting all the elements to assemble the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die, Sabrina the owner of Scrappy Tail Crafts has a video for you to follow on youtube you can watch it here I used purple cardstock and added Oxide ink Villanous Potion on the edges for some dimension.  After assembling the base I die cut the Spooky Ghosts and add them to the snow globe I die cut 4 of this ghosts and adhere them in the center so they can spin and suspend, so much fun!

I am planning to use this project as a decor piece on my house, it stands very well.  I finally added some other elements from the Halloween Essentials dies and the A7 Storefront Halloween House add on, so spooky and funny.   Check out my video on my Instagram.
I hope you have an amazing rest of your day!

Colorful Friendly Ghosts Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends this is Waleska to share with you a Spooky Fun card using the newest release products!  For my card today I used the cute Friendly Mini Ghosts die and a bunch of inks!

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting a lots of ghosts because I wanted to fill the front panel of my card with them.  I then started inking each of the ghosts with Oxide inks in colors Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron and Carved Pumpkin leaves some white spaces on them.

I then started adhering all the ghosts on a black panel trying to mix all the different colors in different spots.  I die cut the word BEWARE from the A7 Storefront Halloween House Add on  and I ink it with the same colors of ink I previously used, I also die cut a second time this word from black cardstock to create a shadow to this word.

I cut from vellum a long strip and adhere it to the center of the ghosts panel (that way the word BEWARE can stand out from that busy background) I was feeling the card was missing something so I finally added some silver star sequins around the ghosts!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a wonderful day!

Halloweener Team 2022/ Wolfman Card

Hello Friends it is Halloween time on my blog!!!! Today I have some exciting news for you!!! Whimsy Stamps has started a new Halloweener Design Team, and I am part of it.  Halloween is a big deal at Whimsy, so it is only fitting that they have a design team dedicated to promoting that halloween season. I want to share the first of many many Halloween cards I will be creating!

CARD DETAILS:

For my very first card I wanted to create something spooky... what is more spooky than a creepy Wolfman looking for you!!!!  I started this card by die cutting with black cardstock the Howling Night Die set.  This set comes with 8 dies you can use to create Halloween scenes on cards of various sizes including slimline, and A2 cards, also great for scrapbook pages too. This amazing set includes a graveyard border, cliff edges, a tree, moon, and 3 wolves in various poses it also comes with embossed details on the moon and cliff.

I end up using only the graveyard border, the wolfman and the bats.  I created the background using Oxide inks in colors Candied Apple, Vintage Photo and Black Soot only on the edges of a white card base, I left the center white for a night spooky look around the moon.

For the moon I used Distress ink in color Pumice Stone and Black soot and I added some water splashes as well as some sparkle with a watercolor sparkle silk.  I finish this card creating the spooky scene and adhering this panel to a red and black card base.  I used the sentiment in the Creepy Clowns set with white embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! expect more halloween cards and projects from this halloween lover using super spooky Whimsy Stamps products.  See you in your nightmares!

Tomorrow is Halloween and for today's card as you already imagine I did another Halloween Card! I just can't stop, Newton's Nook stamps are so awesome!!! I hope your halloween decorations are up and you have your costume ready!!! This card was inspired on my own Halloween decorations! Every year the Halloween decoration of my fireplace is very special for all the family!

CARD DETAILS:

I started with a cream card base, I sponged the edges with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, to make the down part of the wall I used a scoreboard and score every 1/2 inch to create a wall texture and sponge it again with Walnut Stain Distress Ink to accentuate the raised lines.  I cut a strip of cardstock in the same color and adhere it to the scored panel. I stamp the spooky frame  from Creepy Cameos and the spooky skeleton with versafine ink and clear embossing powder.  I die cut a gray fireplace with a brick stencil and walnut stain distress ink I created the brick look.  I decorated the fireplace with some of the SpookySkeletons animals and I also added bats and spooky pumpkins!

Spooky Halloween Decoration

Hello Friends Waleska from craftinglovew here... I am so excited to be Newton's Nook October Guest Designer thank you so much for inviting me. I first have to admit I am a Halloween lover so this past Newton release was just too awesome and perfect for me, I am using a lot of the new stamps and I am having so much fun with them.

CARD DETAILS:

For my first card I used almost all of the stamps from the Spooky Skeletons. I love to create little scenes on my cards, so the idea for this one was a very Spooky Halloween Decoration. I first stamped the skeletons in Onyx Black Versafine ink and put Black Sparkle embossing powder to have shinning Spooky Skeletons!!! I cut them and set them aside to make the background.

For the background I used Spiced Marmalade Oxide ink and some water splashes.  I also sponged the edges with Walnut Stain regular Distress Ink to give the card a more spooky feel. I stamped in the center of the card the amazing frame or mirror (you can use it for both) from Creepy Cameos with Versafine Onyx ink and  also put Black Sparkle embossing powder to unify the sparkle vibe on my card.  I create the inside part of the frame by cutting an oval from gray cardstock.

I finally cut a strip of gray cardstock and sponge it with Walnut Stain Distress ink to create the shelf for all the Halloween Spooky Decor and raised all the images with 3D foam... What do you think? Creepy enough? I just wish I have this awesome skeletons to actually decor my living room like this...  I hope you like my card and get some inspiration to start creating halloween cards.

Have a Spooktacular Day!

Cute but Scary Zombie

Hello my Crafty Friends!!! Today I want to share a card I made for my Halloween Card Series with one of my favorite finds: Craftin Desert Divas Stitches Digital Stamp... and a Tutorial on how to get this Zombie look for your cards.

What you will need:
Craftin Desert Divas Stitches Digital Stamp
Distress Inks in colors:
Walnut Stain
Pumice Stone
Blueprint Sketch
Black Soot
Lawn Fawn Hills Die
White Gel Pen
Shimmer Mist
Eyeshadow Applicator
Prismacolor Markers

First you need to color your image, I used Prismacolor Markers and I did a basic coloring.  You will also need to hand cut the entire image.

You are going to use an eyeshadow applicator to color the edges of your image with  Walnut Stain Distress Ink to give it the Zombie, kind of dirty look.

You will get something like this! Really spooky and already looking like a real zombie! Ha

For the background I used the Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink on the edges and also Black Soot Distress Ink to give this card a night look, you have to leave the center of the card white for the moon light.

Finally you start assembly your scene with all the elements, I used a white gel pen to draw some stars in the background.

And here is your cute but scary at the same time Zombies! hahaha
Hope you find this helpful to create a scene using digital images.  Your should go check out the Craftin Desert Divas Store to find more amazing Digital stamps, plus they cost only 0.99!!!!
I now, love digital images there is so much you can do with them!

Have an amazing day!

Zombie Piggie

This starting week I want to share the next tag for my Halloween series
 "From Delightful to Frightful"
This next spookie piggie is the zombie one!

Let me show you how you can turn this cute piggie into this zombie piggie

I use the Hog Heaven stamp set from MFT, the little tombs from the Spooktacular Lawn Fawn Set
and a Spellbinder die called Graveyard Scenes
Let's see how to turn this cutie to that frightful zombie

The first thing I did was the eye... I did a bigger eye and put some scars on the face,
and with a fine pen draw his torn shirt.
After that I used two different shades of green:
with the lighter green color the hole piggie and put some little points
in different sizes to make the skin zombie looking

For the background I use Distress Inks in colors Carved Pumpkin and Mustard Seed

And here It is the Piggie Zombie ready to go hunting for some bloooood!!

Hope you like it, have a wonderful day thanks for visiting my blog!
If you think someone you know will like this tutorial please share!

Scared Doggie

Hello my Crafty Friends and everyone that visits my blog and will be my friend!!!

Go visit my instagram where I will be sharing everyday a new halloween card
https://www.instagram.com/craftinglovew/

This one is my entry for the current Lawnscaping Challenge It is basically inspired on a Autumn pinterest board with a lot of leafs, oranges and browns and I came up with this funny card!!

Poor doggie... look at his face he is so scared while the ghosts are having so much fun!!!

I use the following Lawn Fawn Stamps:

The Ghosts and Moon of the Spooktacular set
The doggie from Critters at the Dog Park
The branches and leaves from Jump for Joy
The Ghosts faces are from Rooting for you

Distress Inks:

Carved Pumpkin
Spiced Marmalade
Walnut Stain

The original doggie is so happy... let me show you how I change it:

You can always mask only the part where you don't want the ink to be or do like I do I use my Lawn Fawn shammy to take of the part where I don't want the ink to be and with a black pen (a fine one)
I draw the new face...

Tad Ahhh from happy to scared!!

I hope you find this helpful... this was my inspiration for the challenge
