Hugs Penguin/Heartcraft Guest Designer

Hello Friends!!! I am so happy today to be sharing with you a project as a Guest Designer for Heartcraft Paper.  The sweet digital image I used to create this card is called Penguin Celebration... check out all the beautiful and cute digis at the Heartcraft Paper shop...

CARD DETAILS:

To create this adorable card I used a white base that I masked to create the rectangle in the middle of the card and ink blend it with oxide inks to create an aqua gradient spot in the front to create the shimmer I used Perfect Pearls applied with a brush on the masked rectangle only.  I run this piece with an embossing folder on my sizzix to create the fun pattern I cut and adhere this piece to an aqua cardstock and then to a white card base.  I print and color the adorable penguin with markers.

This cute image has a neck piece to enhance it I adhere some gems for sparkle and shine.  I die cut the word hugs and I adhere everyhing in the center with white 3D foams.  I also added some sequins.

Isn´t she just to adorable... This image is one of my favorites from the shop!! I hope you like my card today and can be inspired!!!

Have a wonderful day!  HUGS

Spooky Scene/Kinda Cute Digital Stamps October Guest Designer

Hello Friends today I am super excited to announce I am the October guest designer for Kinda Cute by Patricia Alvarez... every Friday of October starting today, I will be sharing some card inspiration using some cute, cute, cute images from the amazing digis from Patricia, let me share my first project using  the Mummy Boy digital stamp.

CARD DETAILS:

To start this card I wanted to do one of my favorite things... which is ink blending, for an amazing background.... I used Oxide inks in colors Squeezed Lemonade, Spiced Marmalade and Wilted Violet and add some water splashes here and there...

One of the things I always mention that I love about working with digital stamps is that you can resize them, print all the images you want and you can use them for many things, working with them is amazing... so next I used the silhuette studio program to size and print all the images I wanted to work with and I colored them with markers.

To create this spooky scene I used some black trees and bats and finally adhere the images and stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink.... Want to hang out with them?????

Here is a closer look of the colored the images on the scene.

This is card #9 on my Halloween Card Series 2018.... if you are a Halloween Fan... don´t forget to follow me and this series of some of my favorite old and new stamps for the season.

I want to thank Patricia for the opportunity to design with her amazingly cute images and I encourage you to check out the great selection of images she has at her store!!!

Have an amazing weekend!!!

4th Of July Patriotic Cards

Hello Divas Waleska here to share with you a very Festive set of cards I created with the newest digis Celebrating 4th of July...Have you seen them? they are the cutest digis and they are $0.99 each, you can use them for many things cards, decorations, banners and much more go check them out at the Shop.

For my cards today I used three of the new digis: Patriotic Elephant, Liberty Bird and Freedom March with the same kind of stencils and color combinations.

For my first card I used the Outdoor Landscape die to create the ground, with a stencil I made with the Silhouette Cameo, I color the Sunburst with Festive Berries Distress Ink and added the little stars from the Ferris Wheel die. I color the rabbits with markers and added the sentiment, finally I cut the scene with the Fancy Frame die.

For the rest of my cards I did another Sunburst Stencil and color them with Festive Berries Distress Ink, I added the smallest inside circle die from glitter paper and glue the Festive images.  For more sparkle I added little stars.  The Freedom sentiment goes perfect for the occasion and I use the Fancy Frame die to finish my cards.

I hope you can be inspired to create some 4th of July projects with this Amazing Digital Stamps!  The blue, red and white colors look so vibrant I just love the color combination!

I hope you have a wonderful celebration of this Amazing Nation!

Cute but Scary Zombie

Hello my Crafty Friends!!! Today I want to share a card I made for my Halloween Card Series with one of my favorite finds: Craftin Desert Divas Stitches Digital Stamp... and a Tutorial on how to get this Zombie look for your cards.

What you will need:
Craftin Desert Divas Stitches Digital Stamp
Distress Inks in colors:
Walnut Stain
Pumice Stone
Blueprint Sketch
Black Soot
Lawn Fawn Hills Die
White Gel Pen
Shimmer Mist
Eyeshadow Applicator
Prismacolor Markers

First you need to color your image, I used Prismacolor Markers and I did a basic coloring.  You will also need to hand cut the entire image.

You are going to use an eyeshadow applicator to color the edges of your image with  Walnut Stain Distress Ink to give it the Zombie, kind of dirty look.

You will get something like this! Really spooky and already looking like a real zombie! Ha

For the background I used the Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink on the edges and also Black Soot Distress Ink to give this card a night look, you have to leave the center of the card white for the moon light.

Finally you start assembly your scene with all the elements, I used a white gel pen to draw some stars in the background.

And here is your cute but scary at the same time Zombies! hahaha
Hope you find this helpful to create a scene using digital images.  Your should go check out the Craftin Desert Divas Store to find more amazing Digital stamps, plus they cost only 0.99!!!!
I now, love digital images there is so much you can do with them!

Have an amazing day!

Hugs

Waleska
