Spooky Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die/ Scrappy Tail Crafts project

Hello Friends, today I have a very fun Halloween project using the Spooky Ghosts dies and the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die, this die is very versatile you can use it for many different types of cards, it measures 8 x 3.5 inches, this interactive snow globe stands up for beautiful dimension and allows to suspend, dangle or spin all kinds of elements.

PROJECT DETAILS:

I started by cutting all the elements to assemble the Slimline Snow Globe Pop Up die, Sabrina the owner of Scrappy Tail Crafts has a video for you to follow on youtube you can watch it here I used purple cardstock and added Oxide ink Villanous Potion on the edges for some dimension.  After assembling the base I die cut the Spooky Ghosts and add them to the snow globe I die cut 4 of this ghosts and adhere them in the center so they can spin and suspend, so much fun!

I am planning to use this project as a decor piece on my house, it stands very well.  I finally added some other elements from the Halloween Essentials dies and the A7 Storefront Halloween House add on, so spooky and funny.   Check out my video on my Instagram.
I hope you have an amazing rest of your day!

Monster Carnival

Hello Friends Waleska here with a very fun and colorful card! The cute Monsters from the Monster Carnival set are so much fun and can be used for many occasions, can color them however you want...I love to use them in my cards!

CARD DETAILS:

I with a top folding card, I score a line in the center of the front panel to create another fold in the middle for a fun card design, I learned this fun design from the great Jennifer Mcguire.

After that I die cut the Ferris Wheel die from gray cardstock, and for the rest of the elements I used red and aqua cardstock, I also used a brad so that the Ferris Wheel can move (how fun is that).  I then color the half front panel with yellow ink and for the back of the card I used a sun rays stencil with red ink.

I color my favorite monster from the 8 monsters that this stamp set has with markers in the same color combination of yellow red and aqua.  To embellish the card I added Nuvo drops in color
caribbean ocean and CDD Fall Harvest Sequins.  I stamp the fun sentiment inside the card for a surprise!

I hope you liked my card and be inspired to use different folds in your cards for a more fun effects!
Have a great day!

How to make a Water Shaker?

Hello my Sweet Friends and CDD Fans!
The April release is available at the shop
and this is my last card for this Release Event!

I am very proud of  Tara Bruening (CDD owner)
and her Amazing job every release!
I love to be part of a company with so many
unique stamps and dies!

For this card I created a Water Shaker!!!
Yes you can make Water Shakers.....
Let me show you how?

First you need to make your window
and as any other shaker you glue the
acetate to the back of the window.

Then you have to start working on your
water shaker, for mine I use a small bag
that you can seal on top, (like Ziploc bags.)   I filled
it with a little of water and add the color with
distress reinkers.

What I do next is, secure the bag with
lots of clear tape in the up part
I attached the bag on top of the window I die cut
all of this in the back part of course
(I tape only the top of the bag) to my card
it is also important that the window you
cut is smaller than the bag with water.
Clean your bag before you attach it to your
card base... (This is important)

I put double sided tape around the card
it is better if you double the tape for the
water to have room to move.
I attached this to my card base... and
Tadahhhhh you have your Water Shaker!

I hope you find this little tutorial of help,
if you want to create one of this fun interactive
cards!  Kids love them! I don't know about
the mailing (if it is safe to send it, because
I have never tried it) but I know you can
make someone happy giving one of this in
person to someone special.
So remember:

"When life gives you puddles,
jump in them.... and have fun!

Hugs,

Waleska
