Creepy Dolls/ Whimsy Stamps

 Hello Friends,

I am very excited to be back with another Halloween project using the amazing products from Whimsy Stamps, I used an oldie but goodie stamp set called "Dead Dolly".  It has been a delight to be part of this year's Whimsy Stamps Halloweener Design Team!

CARD DETAILS:

I was inspired to create this card by a photo I found online of a lot of creepy dolls hanging from a tree.  I started this card by creating the background using Oxide inks, I cut a circle with masking paper and inked around it with Squeezed Lemonade.   I used Faded Jeans, Chipped Saphire and Black Soot for the night sky, I splashed some water and white acrilic paint mixed with water to simulate stars in the sky.

I then stamped the creepy dolls and colored them with copic markers C1, C2, C3, C4 ,C5 ,C6 I used Tri-blend marker Dark Red to color the rest of the images, to add a creepier look I added vintage photo oxide ink to the edges of the images.  I cut a branch and hang the creepy dolls, I also added some black bats from the Dracula going Batty Die set  and the sentiment.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! It was so fun to create this creepy card, remember to shop all your spooky products from Whimsy Stamps and their amazing selection!

Have a great new week!

It was a very easy card to make because I used the new Haunted Graveyard paper for the background I stamped and colored the peeking puppy with copic markers and I added a bunch of halloween elements from Whimsy Dies, Build a Grave dies, Spiders and Webs and the Eye Scream Stamp set.
For the grave and fence I used Tim Holtz Grave Texture Paste mixed with oxide inks. I finally added the funny sentiment as if this cute zombie puppy is playing PEEK A BOO!

Halloweener Team 2022/ Wolfman Card

Hello Friends it is Halloween time on my blog!!!! Today I have some exciting news for you!!! Whimsy Stamps has started a new Halloweener Design Team, and I am part of it.  Halloween is a big deal at Whimsy, so it is only fitting that they have a design team dedicated to promoting that halloween season. I want to share the first of many many Halloween cards I will be creating!

CARD DETAILS:

For my very first card I wanted to create something spooky... what is more spooky than a creepy Wolfman looking for you!!!!  I started this card by die cutting with black cardstock the Howling Night Die set.  This set comes with 8 dies you can use to create Halloween scenes on cards of various sizes including slimline, and A2 cards, also great for scrapbook pages too. This amazing set includes a graveyard border, cliff edges, a tree, moon, and 3 wolves in various poses it also comes with embossed details on the moon and cliff.

I end up using only the graveyard border, the wolfman and the bats.  I created the background using Oxide inks in colors Candied Apple, Vintage Photo and Black Soot only on the edges of a white card base, I left the center white for a night spooky look around the moon.

For the moon I used Distress ink in color Pumice Stone and Black soot and I added some water splashes as well as some sparkle with a watercolor sparkle silk.  I finish this card creating the spooky scene and adhering this panel to a red and black card base.  I used the sentiment in the Creepy Clowns set with white embossing powder.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! expect more halloween cards and projects from this halloween lover using super spooky Whimsy Stamps products.  See you in your nightmares!

You are a Killer Slimline card/ Whimsy Stamps Guest Designer

Hello Friends!!! Waleska Galindo here from craftinglovew super happy to share with you my second post as this month's Guest Designer for Whimsy Stamps.  I am crazy for the new Lookin' Shark stamp set, I have a crazy love for shark stamps and this one is definetely one of my favorites so far.  I mixed this funny stamp set with the Slimline Connected Bubbles die set to create an underwater card.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started with the background.  For the background I used Oxide inks in colors Peacock Feathers in the middle of the panel then I used Salty Ocean and on the edges I used Lucky Clover I blended this tree colors very well and added some water splashes for more texture and to create the under water feel to this panel.

I set this panel aside to dry and I die cut six of the Slimline Connected Bubbles die and adhere them together so they can have dimention.  I then put glue around the bubbles and add sparkling glitter to them, they look super fun with the dimention and glitter.

I colored the super adorable and fun Sharks with Tri-blend Spectrum Noir markers in colors Ice Grey Blend, Dark Red Blend and Jade Green Blend I cut them and adhere them to the back of the biggest bubbles so they will look like they are inside the bubbles.  I stamped the sentiment with black ink and glue this panel to a white card base.

I had so much fun creating this card, I want to thank Whimsy Stamps for the amazing opportunity to design with ther awesome products I love it!!! I hope you can be inspired to create some fun summer cards with Whimsy Stamps products and remember to stay safe and stay crafty! hugs!!!
