Smiley Pandas/ Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello there! I am happy to be back on the blog to share a happy card featuring the Panda Party Stamps I also used the Frilly Frames Hexagon and the Mini Mat & Tag #1 Dies.

CARD DETAILS:

I started by cutting the biggest of the Frilly Frames with white cardstock and inking another piece to adhere on top of this frame with Oxide Inks in colors Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed and Cracked Pistachio, I did some watercolor splatters for more interest.  I then cut the small scalloped rectangle from the Mini Mat Tag #1 Dies and created a little scene with stencils and oxide inks.

I then stamped and cut the cutest three pandas from the set and adhere them in the scene, I stamped one of the sentiments with white embossing powder on black cardstock, such an adorable card to wish someone you love a pandastic day!
Thank you so much for stopping by today have a great rest of your week!

There's snow one like you/Sunny Studio Stamps

 Hello Friends!

For today's project, I thought it would be fun to continue with the non traditional colors for Christmas.  The stamp I will be using today is super cute "Snow one like you" stamp this one comes with an adorable girl and snowman with a bunch of little snowflakes.

CARD DETAILS:

I started my card coloring the cute girl and snowman, that helped me to decide on the color palette for the rest of the elements.  I used copic markers RV00/BV01 for the lilacs and to do some shading I used C1/C2, I also used a white Posca Pen to create a little pattern on the clothes.  I inked the background using Oxide inks Spun Sugar and Shaded Lilac, I used masking paper to create a moon in the center of this panel.
I created a snow bank with white cardstock and I also die cut some trees from the Rustic Winter dies I added some shadow details with the C1 and C2 markers. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

I finally adhered my front panel to a pink and white card bases to match the colors used before.  Thank you so much for stopping by today! Remember there's snow one else like YOU!

Pool Party Unicorn

Hello CDD Fans, Waleska here to share with you on Day 4 of our June Release the new Stamp Set "100% Magical"... This set is truly magical with lots of summer Unicorns having fun in the Sun, I know you will love this  new set.  I created this adorable unicorn having fun on a pool maybe in her backyard or on a friend's house... let me share with you now I create this fun card.

CARD DETAILS:

To make this card, I created my own glitter paper by putting Double Sided adhesive tape  (you can find this at the CDD Shop in various sizes) on a white card base and then adding the colored glitter I wanted.  I loove the look of glitter shiny water don´t you?

This adhesive works great and the glitter stays very well.  I then cut this piece with a wave die from the Ocean Border Dies to create the pool water, with a strip of gray cardstock I created the pool border.

I also wanted to create a wood fence, to do that I cut a strip of kraft cardstock, with a scoring board I score every 1/2 inch to create the wood logs after that I used distress inks in a swiping motion in the bottom and on top with colors Rusty Hinge and Vintage Photo.  You should totally try this technique the wood looks awesome.

For the Sun I used the Bright Horizons Stencil with two Oxide inks colors Squeezed Lemonade and  Fossilized Amber.  I adhere every piece to the front part of the card, with an exacto knife I cut a little line in the glitter water to put the unicorn floating.  I finally stamped the sentiment in the right up corner of the card.

I hope you like this card as much as I do and can be as excited as we are for this new Release!!!  Be ready to get your new stamps and dies from this release on June 15th at 3pm.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Toadally Awesome Nuvo Shimmer Powders

Hello Friends, I hope you had a great week!!! I am super excited to share with you this card today and also some backgrounds I created with the beautiful Nuvo Shimmer Powders... All you have to do with this powders is add water and let the magic happens. The colors are amazing and you can create beautiful shiny projects with them. Let me share with you how to use them it is super fun!

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I started with the background first, I spread some of the Atlantis Burst powder on the front of my card base and add water... I let the colors move a little and then I use a heat tool to dry it. After that first panel I did two more panels in the same way one more with the Atlantis Burst and the other one with my favorite powder color Violet Brocade.

I die cut a frame for the front of my card and stamp some of the froggies from the Toadally Awesome Lawn Fawn to the other panel and hand cut all the pieces. I used 3D foam to give dimension to the froggies and finally I added the sentiment. I don't actually own all of the colors of the Nuvo Shimmer Powders but I created some examples for you to take a look of the ones I have. (by the way I need them all)....

Atlantis Burst /Solar Flare

Storm Cloud /Violet Brocade

Love Puffin

Hello Friends!! a couple of weeks ago I won a $50 prize
at the ClassRoom at Ellen Hutson blog and with
that prize I bought this cutie!!! it is a small set from Avery Elle

My card today is for the Challenge #5
For a Female/Mum at Always Fun Challenges

To tell you the truth I did not know what this animal
was... so of course I googled it... and they are the
cutest little animals ( I totally thought they were not
real)   hahaha

I used Distress Oxide inks for the background in colors
Peeled Paint and Broken China, and to tell you the truth
I am anxiously awaiting for more oxide ink colors,
they blend so well I just looooove them!

For the rest of the scene I added some little elements from
the set! The tree trunk is a die you can find at the
Craftin Desert Divas Shop it is called "Scene Builder Dies"

I added clear embossing powder to the puffins and the
tree trunk and they look awesome, if you want to get a
more realistic look!

I love this little set! totally worth it!

How to make a Water Shaker?

Hello my Sweet Friends and CDD Fans!
The April release is available at the shop
and this is my last card for this Release Event!

I am very proud of  Tara Bruening (CDD owner)
and her Amazing job every release!
I love to be part of a company with so many
unique stamps and dies!

For this card I created a Water Shaker!!!
Yes you can make Water Shakers.....
Let me show you how?

First you need to make your window
and as any other shaker you glue the
acetate to the back of the window.

Then you have to start working on your
water shaker, for mine I use a small bag
that you can seal on top, (like Ziploc bags.)   I filled
it with a little of water and add the color with
distress reinkers.

What I do next is, secure the bag with
lots of clear tape in the up part
I attached the bag on top of the window I die cut
all of this in the back part of course
(I tape only the top of the bag) to my card
it is also important that the window you
cut is smaller than the bag with water.
Clean your bag before you attach it to your
card base... (This is important)

I put double sided tape around the card
it is better if you double the tape for the
water to have room to move.
I attached this to my card base... and
Tadahhhhh you have your Water Shaker!

I hope you find this little tutorial of help,
if you want to create one of this fun interactive
cards!  Kids love them! I don't know about
the mailing (if it is safe to send it, because
I have never tried it) but I know you can
make someone happy giving one of this in
person to someone special.
So remember:

"When life gives you puddles,
jump in them.... and have fun!

Hugs,

Waleska

Birthday..Bean Sweet!

Today I am so excited to share my first entry to the new
Lawnfawnatics Challenge from Lawn Fawn
I missed so much the Lawnscaping Challenge
so happy for this.
The first theme is "Birthday"

For this card I use the new
How you Bean stamp set
I tried to keep all the card with the same
colors as the lawn fawn pattern paper

For the jar I used Distress Ink
Tumbled Glass to give it the look of glass

I loove Lawn Fawn products and I declare
myself a Lawn Fawn Addict and Fawnatic!

Have a nice day!

For this card I use the Cloud die from the Scene Builders set,
to create a Die Cut pattern in the front of the card,
and for the back part I did a Distress Ink background

flicking of water to give it more interest.

To finish it up I raised the front part with double sided tape
