Party Hats!

Hello Friends! Today I am inspired by the Ellen Hutson Challenge at the ClassRoom blog to create a very festive card! I love to participate on challenges because the inspiration always gives me lots of ideas of what I want to create!

The inspiration:

CARD DETAILS:

This is my second entry to this challenge, I made this card because I found this cute little colorful pom pom balls that remind me of the hats on the inspiration photo! I use them on the party hat stamp that comes in the Bear Ware by Julie stamp set... they look almost like the ones on the inspiration! I leave the card very simple because the pom poms already have lots of dimension, the hello gorgeous sentiment from the Hello Gorgeous by Julie goes perfect with my card.

I hope you have a great week and have fun creating!

Flying Bunny!

Hello Friends it is time for another Pin-Sights Challenge at the Ellen Hutson blog! I love the colorful inspiration this time, It has lots of party inspiration and vibrant colors... check it out because in my opinion this challenge has the best prize!!! I won it one time and love it!

I was inspired to use this color combination because of the inspiration... I am in love with the  new Oxide Ink colors, I am now missing only 4 colors from the colors the have out and I am loving every single one of them! they blend so well, there are lots of techniques you can do with them so, in my opinion they are a must have in your supplies! The colors I used for this card where Peacock Feathers, Worn Lipstick and Fossilized Amber with a smooshing technique I used the Craftin Desert Divas Frame dies and the Labels Maker Sentiments from My Favorite things!!!

From Ellen Hutson I use the Bear Ware by Julie and the clouds from Silver Linings by Julie also.  I hope you have an amazing starting week!

BE-YOU-TIFUL Mermaids/ Ellen Hutson Mix it Up Challenge

Hello Cardmakers out there! I want to share with you a BE-YOU-TIFUL Mermaid card for the Ellen Hutson Mix it Up Challenge with Lawn Fawn.

CARD DETAILS:

For this card I started with the background I used Oxide Inks in colors Cracked Pistachio, Broken China and Faded Jeans, I have to say this colors are perfect for Ocean backgrounds.  I added Versamark ink and Ranger Holographic Embossing Powder to the hole background.

It looks very beautiful, after that I die cut the Ellen Hutson Be-You-Tiful word die six times to have a raised look, and color all the mermaids in the same color combination for the border I used the Gina Marie Designs Wonky Stitched Rectangle Dies.

I love the sparkling look of this card so I added more sparkle to the hair, top and tail with the Ranger Bullet embossing ink pen.

I hope you enjoyed my card today and can give this idea a try of making a very sparkling card! I think there is never to much sparkle in a card hahaha!

Be-You-tiful

Hello, there... It is time for another Pin-Sight Challenge at the ClassRoom blog, the beautiful inspiration for my card has lots of pinks and oranges...I did a very cool technique with Oxide Inks and vellum... Want to know how? let me share it with you.....

CARD DETAILS

I started with the vellum piece, I first put a little of  Spiced Marmalade in my Ranger Mat and I added a little bit of water... I wanted the ink to be thick, and smooshed the vellum into the oxide ink ( I did not add more water to the piece) I only added the oxide ink and dry it with a heat gun, I did the same thing with the Worn Lipstick ink in the parts I thought it needed.   When I finally got the look I wanted I flip the vellum piece and use the back of it for my card.

                              Vellum Front                           Vellum Back

I stamped with Embossing ink the Mondo Hydrangeas in the right corner of the vellum and added gold embossing powder I also added the same gold embossing powder to the Be-You-tiful Ellen Hutson Die to match the flowers. To frame everything I used the Postage die from Avery Elle in white cardstock. The sequins are from Pretty Pink Posh the Clear Mix.

I love the effect on the vellum, it kind of looks like Marble, the Oxide inks look Awesome on vellum, but remember you have to use the back of your piece!

BeYoutiful

Hello Friends it is time for another...

The beautiful inspiration has some light colors
that inspire me to create this card!

I did some smooshing on the card base with colors
ballet slippers from Lawn Fawn, Lilac Lane from Umbrella
Crafts and Tumbled Glass distress ink.
I used the flower from Thankful by Julie with
gold embossing powder on lilac and light blue cardstock
I finally die cut the Beyoutiful sentiment and added
some touches here and there of gold embossing powder.

As you can see I love the Challenges at the Ellen Hutson

very unique products, #2 the BEST prize from all and #3 they

has lots of soft colors and a spring vibe.

I used the Silver Linings by Julie dies with
a little flower of the Bear Ware by Julie
I used a white glitter cardstock to embellish
the cloud and make some heart dies.

of the $50 gift certificate, and it was a perfect
time to win because that same week the Ellen Hutson
shop had a great deal so I bought so many stamps!!!

Flower Shoes

Hello Crafty Friends! Finally Friday and I had some little
time between baths, breakfast and many other things
to make my entry to the Mix It Up Challenge at the

For this Fun Challenge all you have to do is combine
Essentials by Ellen Hutson products with some other
company products, for this challenge is Waffle Flower!
I have found myself buying more and more of their unique
stamps and dies!

For my card I used the Mondo Hydrangea by Julie
and colored it with oxide inks, because they blend so well.
I mix colors Fossilized Amber and Wilted Violet and
sponge it with Eyeshadow applicators to get in
the small areas.

I used the Oxide Inks to sponge
some areas of the base of my card to match
the colors on the shoes pattern.

Finally I flick some water to make it more interesting
For the shoes I stamp the First Step shoes in my flower
piece and cut it out to make the pattern on the shoes.

This is my final card! I had this card on my mind
for so long.... and It turned out exactly how I imagined!
Love when that happens!
Have a great weekend!

3D Hydrangea

Today I have to say that I am having so much fun with this Ellen Hutson Challenge....

First I stamped a bunch of the hydrangea flower with memento tuxedo ink

I color the edges of the flowers with Distress ink in color shaded lilac

I colored the center of the flowers with Distress ink in color squeezed lemonade

I also gave some color to the center of the flowers with a yellow marker and hand cut all the flowers... I have to say that I love to had cut things...

Finally I cut a circle and adhere with multi mono glue all the flowers only in the center to make a 3d effect, I also put some wink of stella to the center of the flowers to give them some sparkle.

And Tadahhh.... here is my second card participating on this amazing challenge...
I love the colors especially the realistic look I got...!!!

Have a wonderful day,
