Road Trip Map/Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends! Today I wanted to share with you some inspiration with the new Scrappy Tail Crafts Adventure Awaits Summer Release.  For my project today I used the A7 Road Trip Map Die, I love this new release with all the travel products for your projects.

PROJECT DETAILS:

To create this A7 card I started by die cutting the map from a Scrapbook page I had, I put Oxide Ink in color Vintage Photo to the edges to create some contrast.
I then had fun with all the elements that this set has, I die cut the vintage car and the road details make a huge difference on the map, it totally looks like a road trip map.
I wanted the words Road Trip to stand out so I die cut them from red and black cardstock.
I adhered this piece to a kraft cardstock and I created a shaped card.

I love the look of this fun vintage map, it seams so distant now that I think that we used to use maps on read trips... I would get nowhere without Google maps.  Thank you for stopping by today, I hope this inspires you to create a project with this beautiful collection.

Point me in the right direction/Scrappy Tail

Hello Friends! I hope your day is great, today I wanted to share a project I created with my favorite product from the latest Scrappy Tail Crafts Release, the A7 Compass Scroll Craft Metal Die, this new die makes the most realistic compass, you can use it to create masculine cards or just some amazing cards.

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today I wanted to create a realistic looking map, I found in my stash some scrapbook paper with nautical theme with this map print so I cut the Old Paper Scroll from it, to give this piece an antique look I used Vintage Photo Oxide ink on the edges.   I then cut the compass and the old fashion feather with gold, teal and black, as I mention before this compass looks so realistic I used 3D foam tape for dimension on some parts.

I adhered the compass to the center of the map and white heat embossed a sentiment from the Guiding Light Stamp set.  I adhered this piece to an embossed piece and then to a black cardbase.  Such a fun card to create! Thank you for stopping by today, I hope this inspires you to create something today!

Autumn Tree Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello Friends!

I'm back today for more Sunny Studio Stamps inspiration from their most recent release! Today's card features the beautiful Autumn Tree dies.

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today I started with the focal point which is the Autumn Tree die, I die cut the tree with kraft cardstock, I added some shading with Oxide Ink Vintage photo.  When you add a little of ink to the edges of your die cut images you create dimension and a better look.  I die cut a bunch of leaves and color them with copic markers.  I the adhere all the colorful leaves to the tree.  I decided to use the cute fox from the Fall Friends Stamps at the bottom of my card and color them I used copic markers YR18 YR09 YR04.

I finally used a teal colored cardstock for the background on my card, the Fancy Frame Rectangle Dies and the Critter Country paper to match the colors of the leaves.
I hope you enjoy it!  Thanks for visiting!

Autumn Greenery Dies Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello Friends! I created a fun background for today's card using the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  This embossing folder creates the most amazing wood background for many different types of projects.  My card today also uses the new Autumn Greenery dies.

CARD DETAILS:

I started this card by embossing a panel of kraft cardstock with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder I then used Oxide Ink in color Peacock Feathers to accentuate the raised parts of the embossed piece.  I die cut a lot of the Autumn Greenery dies with white cardstock and decided to use Dried Marigold Oxide ink and Peacock Feathers to ink the leaves mixing those two colors together.
I wanted to create a cluster of leaves in the center of the card and I used a piece of kraft cardstock to put the leaves behind it.  I mixed different types of leaves.  I finally added the Happy Holidays from the Holiday Greetings Stamps and dies with a matching teal color of ink.  I adhered this panel to a kraft card base and added some Iridescent Clear Jewels

Thank you so much for stopping by today!   Remember to stay crafty because today is only lived once, do what you love and enjoy it!!!

Colorful Friendly Ghosts Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends this is Waleska to share with you a Spooky Fun card using the newest release products!  For my card today I used the cute Friendly Mini Ghosts die and a bunch of inks!

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting a lots of ghosts because I wanted to fill the front panel of my card with them.  I then started inking each of the ghosts with Oxide inks in colors Wilted Violet, Twisted Citron and Carved Pumpkin leaves some white spaces on them.

I then started adhering all the ghosts on a black panel trying to mix all the different colors in different spots.  I die cut the word BEWARE from the A7 Storefront Halloween House Add on  and I ink it with the same colors of ink I previously used, I also die cut a second time this word from black cardstock to create a shadow to this word.

I cut from vellum a long strip and adhere it to the center of the ghosts panel (that way the word BEWARE can stand out from that busy background) I was feeling the card was missing something so I finally added some silver star sequins around the ghosts!
Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a wonderful day!
