Trick or Treat Frankie/ Heartcraft Paper Digi Stamp

Hello Friends!!! I am so happy today to be sharing with one my very first Halloween card for this 2018.... For today´s card I used an adorable Digital Image from my friend Monica of her shop Heartcraft Paper...She has a new release with some adorable kids in costumes and much more... let me share with you how I create this fun card!

CARD DETAILS:

I started this card printing various of the Frankies in different sizes... that is one great thing about digital stamps...you can resize them and print lots.  I colored the size Frankie I wanted for the front of my card with copic markers and hand cut it.  I then started with the background... to make the spiderweb background I created my own stencil by cutting a silhouette file in some strong cardstock.

I used Wilted Violet oxide ink and also Black Soot for the corners... I die cut some little spiders and glue them around the front panel.  I adhere the cute Trick or Treat Frankie and die cut the sentiment with black cardstock... I mount this entire panel to an orange cardbase for a pop of color, and finally added some sequins here and there!!

So tell me... what are you doing today? are you making halloween cards??  Stay tuned for my halloween card series starting on October 1 with lots of inspiration, fun cards and a giveaway to celebrate my favorite time of the year!!!

Have a wonderful day!!

UNITY + BRUTUS MONROE Blog Hop

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Brutus Monroe Hop!!! This time we are teaming up with the amazing Unity Stamps  for a very special Blog Hop...
This week Brutus Monroe and Unity Design teams will be focusing on the four new background stamps this two companies design as a collaboration... they are amazing and you will find lots of inspiration on this hop...let me tell you friends you need the entire collection.

CARD DETAILS

First of all this collection of stamps are rubber stamps so as you can imagine the detail on them is amazing.  For my cards today I used Barn Wall stamp...

I was very inspired by the Brutus Monroe glitter cardstock to create Christmas cards and give this Barn Wall a very festive look.  I stamped the Barn Wall with grey ink twice with the mini Misti.  Something I wanted to mention was that this new stamps fit perfectly on the mini Misti so you will have a perfect and detailed image all the time.

I die cut some ornaments with different Christmas colors of the Brutus Monroe Glitter Cardstock and added the Christmas sentiment to finish this card I adhere this panel to a green cardstock... and just like that! You have a beautiful and easy Christmas card you can to give to your love ones.

For my second card I did the exact same thing...I continue with the Christmas theme.  I added some green branches to the corner of the Barn Wall I die cut some snowflakes and the red Christmas sentiment with Brutus Monroe Glitter Cardstock... I adhere this panel to a red cardbase.

This has been an amazing Hop, I hope you can be inspired by all the amazing projects from the Design Teams... hop along with us and also remember to follow this hop on Instagram for a change to win Unity Gift Card Prizes...

Simple Blends!!

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a blog hop at the Brutus Monroe blog featuring a product or technique of the week!  This week will be focusing on Simple Blends!!! Do you know What Simple Blends are?  They are a great tool...let me explain a little, the simple blend blending stencils were created to assist with general blending within shapes on A2 size card.  This innovative stencil is sized to perfectly fit on your card front or card layer to create perfect blending of inks and saturation of even one color of ink within the shape.  The shapes within the stencil are positioned for perfect placement everytime!!!

CARD DETAILS:

I got a little carried away with the holidays with my cards today!!! I am so excited for this year´s holidays!!! For this two cards I did the same design concept... I starte with the simple blend-Oval on a white card base to create an oval shape in the middle of my A2 card base.  I used oxide inks for the two cards, it is so easy to create this masked areas with the simple blends... you really have to try them!!  For the halloween card I did some splashes of silver watercolor to create the night sky, I added some spooky branches and a raven with some bats with Raven cardstock.  I used glitter cardstock for the sentiment.  To finish this card I mounted my front panel into a sidewalk cardstock base and then to a white cardbase.

For my second card I did the exact same thing but this time I used Cabbage cardstock and glitter cardstock for my sentiment too.

I hope you like my cards and you can give this simple blend stencil tools a try, check out the ideas of the other design team members using the simple blends too:
