Easter Chick Box/Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends! I am happy to be back to share inspiration using the new Easter Blessings Collection, this project is super adorable and colorful...  There is something for everyone! Check it out at the Scrappy Tails Shop.

PROJECT DETAILS:

To start this cute box I die cut the Easter Chicks Add On for the Pumpkin Pop Up Card Die
with yellow cardstock, I also used different colors of markers to color the different elements of the face. In my opinion is so much easier to cut everything from white cardstock and then color it.  This Pumpkin Pop Up die is so much fun and there are so many add-ons you will love it. If you want to know how to assemble this die check out the Scrappy Tail Youtube Channel.

Are you creating Easter projects? The new Easter Bunny, Easter Lamb, Leprechaun and Lucky Gold Pot  add ons are great!  I hope this inspires you to create some Easter Projects!! Have a wonderful day!

Eggcellent Friend/Sunny Studio Stamps

Hello Friends! The most recent release is full of cute stamps but the one I am featuring today in my card is one of my favorites, The Clucky Chicken Stamp Set, it is so much fun!

CARD DETAILS:

This card is kind of clean and simple I had to stop myself when adding all this chicks.  I started creating the front panel of my card, I cut a white 3 1/4 panel and cut two stripes from the red and white gingham paper from Joyful Holiday Cardstock and adhere it to a white cardbase.  I then cut a circle and used a cloud and a grass stencil to create the little scene, I used Oxide inks Tumbled Glass for the sky and Mowed Lawn and Lucky Clover for the grass.  I stamped all the cute chicks, chickens and hen house, color and cut them with their coordinating dies and started assembling the scene.

To finish my card I stamped one of the funny sentiments on this set with Versafine Nocturne Ink.
So cute and ready to make someone smile! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

Chicks Graduation

Ohh how much fun was to create this funny
Chicks Graduation!
This is my entry for the Lawn Fawnatics
Challenge #3 OUTSTANDING OCCASIONS

I wanted to create a Graduation and since almost all
of the Lawn Fawn stamps coordinate I used one of
the chicks of  the Chirp Chirp Chirp stamp set
and the Graduation hat from the Smart Cookie set

For the Stage I used a Silhouette File called
DRAMA THEATER STAGE by Samantha Walker
Design #9369
and colored it with Distress Inks
(I had to resize the image to fit my card)

I hope you had a great weekend and can be inspired
by my funny card!  I am totally planning to save this
card to give it to my little brother for his Graduation!

EGG Vampires

Vampire Eggs....hahaha..... This card is so funny I just can't handle it!!!
This card is my first entry to the Lawnscaping Challenge for this week GEOMETRIC....
I can keep creating halloween cards all year long.. last week I got TOP MOW-IT-ALL for my zombie doggies card... so amazing!!!

For this card I use Distress inks in colors:
Squeezed Lemonade
Chipped Sapphire
Black Soot
The Chirp Chirp Chirp Lawn Fawn Stamps
Booya Stamp Set elements.... To make some EGGcelent Vampires!! hahaha

I made a little tutorial to show you how I create the background

1. I diecut a circle mask for the moon

2. You put your mask where you want your moon to be placed in the card

3. Next, you start blending with squeezed lemonade distress ink, only around the circle mask to make kind of a halo.

4. After that you start blending around the edge of the card with chipped sapphire first, leaving in the center some white spots

6. Put also some black soot distress ink on the edges to make the look of a more dramatic night.....

7.  Remove very carefully the mask and blend in the center of the moon some squeezed lemonade to make a brilliant moon

Here is you Spooky night sky..... have an amazing day...
Hope you find this helpful...
