Normal is Boring... Who is with me?

Hello Friends!!! Today we start a new week... my kids finally started school and here in Guatemala is freezing!!! but today I am so excited to share my card for my Brutus Monroe Monday Blog Post!  The first time I saw this stamp set I just love it! It is called BE UNIQUE and it comes with lots of amazing sentiments like this one... NORMAL IS BORING... I love it and live it every day, because definitely I am not NORMAL...hahaha anybody that knows me can tell you that!! Well now to the card.

CARD DETAILS:

I started with a white card base, I inked with Brutus Monroe Embossing ink and the Pugsley Stencil, I did a quick pass through it because I wanted a very organic look to it.  I added Icible Brutus Monroe Ultra Fine Embossing Powder.  I smooshed my current favorite Oxide colors Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers, I also added some water splashes mixed with Salty Ocean and  Seedless Preserves.  I color the bunny with  Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers with the same colors from the background to unify the design. 

I adhere the piece to a black card base and stamped the awesome sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossing powder.

Donut Worry... Be Happy!!

Hello friends today I want to share a card I created thinking on all the stress we have on this coming seasons!!! The time is flying at least for me! I am leaving on thursday to my brother's wedding in Las Vegas and I will stay in the states almost a month!!  So this card is also for me!!! hahaha

CARD DETAILS:

For the my card today I used my silhouette Cameo to create the letters with a very simple font, leaving the space for the doughnuts to fit on the words! I stamp the doughnuts with versafine onyx ink and added Icicle embossing powder from Brutus Monroe! I did the background with Worn Lipstick Oxide ink and water splashes.  I colored the doughnuts with markers and adhere everything with Craft Glue to a black card base! I added sequins to embellish it a little!

Brighter Days Ahead

Hello Friends today I wanted to share with you my card for my Monday Blog at the Brutus Monroe! My card today is inspired to brighten someone's day! You can find all the products used on my card on the Brutus Monroe shop!!! 

For my card today I used the beautiful BM Floral Frenzy Background stamp.  I started with Brutus Monroe Embossing Ink, I highly recommend using this product, the results with it are always amazing!  I used ultra fine Alabaster embossing powder for the background stamp to give color to the piece  I used oxide inks Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers and splash a little water for more interest.  I die cut a circle in the middle of the stamped front to add the sentiment, I added Raven Ink to the Sentiment and also to the outer part of the black cardstock for a glossy effect.

Bunny Kisses

Hello Friends Waleska here with my very first blog post as a Design Team Member for Brutus Monroe!!! I am so excited for this amazing opportunity!!!  I created this two cards with the beautiful Bunny Kisses stamp set, I love the drawing style of this stamp, so detailed and beautiful it reminds me of my the illustrations I find on my children's books! The possibilities are endless with this little set, not only you can make very unique and stylish baby announcements, you can also create party favors, thank you notes for a baby shower or congratulate new parents.

CARD DETAILS:

I started with a white card base for my card, I stamped the cute family with Raven Detail Ink from Brutus Monroe, I created a mask for the bunnies, because I wanted to accentuate all the details of the image in black and white.  I used post it tape to create the color strip for the back of the bunnies with oxide inks in colors Salty Ocean and Fossilized Amber and Worn Lipstick and Cracked Pistachio with water splashes.

I stamped the sentiments and added Pretty Pink Posh clear sequins for a simple embellishment. I finally adhere the white piece to a black card base.

This is a very simple card but I think the cute faces

Spooktacular Loads of Fun

Hello my Crafty Friends.... the card for today is my second entry for the Lawnscaping Challenge "Geometric" I am with the Spooky theme as long as I can.... I didn't know I have this "Thing" for Halloween Cards.... I LOVE THEM!!! and I LOVE MAKING THEM TOO!!

I now have like 500  Halloween cards laying in my desk!! hahaha
