What is Canoe with you?

Hello Friends Waleska here, today I want to share with you a card I created with one of the most adorable Sugar Pea Designs set called Indian Summer. This set is full of racoons in different poses to create great outdoor scenes.  Let me share with you how I created this card.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I used many different Oxide Ink colors, I wanted to make a night scene on a lake with this cute guys.  To make the this scene I tear a piece of white cardstock trying to form the shape of a lakeside.

I used this piece as a mask to apply the Oxide Ink colors Peeled Paint, Vintage Photo  ans Faded Jeansfor the forest.  I used Mermaid Lagoon Oxide Ink for the water.

I added some water splashes and colored  with markers three of the racoons from the set.  I also created a moon with a circle die, gray ink and water splases.

I stamped the sentiment and adhere all the elements to the front panel of my card.  I hope you like my card and I hace inspired you to create something amazing today!

You can find the hop HERE.   This week we are showcasing  "Surface Sprays".  There are so many things you can do with this Sprays but today I will be focusing on how to create an easy background.

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today, I wanted to create an easy galaxy background.  To do this front panel I sprayed a couple of times the OZ Surface Spray into Premium Gloss Stock.  I mix this color with other two for a variation of color.  I then die cut lots of stars from that sprayed panel. I die cut more stars from Glitter Cardstock and I inlay all the stars on this panel.

I adhere the sprayed panel to a black card base to make the stars pop!

To continue with the galaxy theme I stamped and color one of my favorite girls from the "When I grow up collection"... I adhere this adorable Astronaut to the card and I added a sentiment on a flag banner.

Out of This World Reveal Wheel!

Hello everyone Waleska here, thank you so much for stopping by for my weekly blog, today with a new, interactive and fun card.  If you follow me you already know I am a big, huge Lawn Fawn Fan... This recent release in my opinion was one of the best.  One of my absolute favorite was the Reveal Wheel Die Set... this die is a total must have in your die arsenal... It is so easy to ensemble and so fun to make cards...

CARD DETAILS:

To start my card I die cut three of the main pieces with white cardstock.  I wanted to use the
Beam Me Up stamp set to create a galaxy scene so I first place the spaceship where I wanted the reveal wheel to rotate and drew with a pencil around it to know where to cut the space window for the aliens to be.  After I cut the window I trace on the rotating wheel three times the window to know where to stamp the cute aliens.  After this I started creating the galaxy on the front panel with Oxide Inks Seedless PreservesBlueprint Sketch and Black Soot, I used lots of water and some little star sequins to create the galaxy.

After the background was completed I started the assembly of the card,  I stamped other images from the set to create a scene, where the alien dad is at the galaxy spaceship stop to leave his son who is going on a field trip to the earth.  The light from the spaceship was made with tracing paper that I colored with a yellow marker.  I used black cardstock for the card base as well as for the sentiment.

Every time you turn the wheel a different Alien shows on the spaceship window...  This card was so much fun to make... look on your stamps and dies for other fun ideas to use the Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel... I guarantee you will have a blast creating one of this.

Re-Boot Fun Cards!

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Wednesday Quick Tip...using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a blog hop at the Brutus Monroe blog featuring a product or technique of the week!, all the Design Team works very hard to share great inspiration for you!! You can find the hop HERE.   This week we are showcasing a new "Re-Boot" another great set designed by Amy Osburn Purdie.  I love this new Technologic sets we have been showcasing this past weeks.  There are so many things you can do with this sets, but today I will be focusing on some great backgrounds you can add to the smartphone stamp.

CARD DETAILS:

I started this card, by stamping the smartphone with Brutus Monroe Embossing ink and added Raven embossing powder for a glossy look.  I then cut the inside white part of the phone with an exacto knife and glue a colorful cardstock from the back.

I stamped a little sentiment from the set with black ink and adhere an emoji sticker.  I used some colorful cardstock pieces to create a fun design on the front panel.  To finish the card I stamped a large sentiment on the up part of the card to complement the smartphone theme.

For the card base I use raven cardstock with raven embossing powder on the edges to unify the glossy look.

For my second card I did the same thing with the smartphone by cutting the inside portion of the phone, this time I glue the cutest picture I could find of my little daughter!!! There are lots of things you can do as backgrounds for this phone.  I adhere this to a colorful balloon cardstock base and stamped the perfect sentiment "Love your Face" from the Amazing Super Sentimental stamp set.

I know she is my daughter, but she looks just too adorable on this card don't you think?  I hope you like my ideas and can be inspired this week.

Rainbow Boy!

Hello Kindred Stamps Fans, Waleska from craftinglovew here to share with you a very sweet and colorful card with one of the many stamps that come in the "Of to See the Wizard" stamp set... This adorable boy is ready to make someone smile.

CARD DETAILS:

I started with the background for my card, I choose three of my favorite colors of Oxide Inks, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers, this colors look great together and went well with the rest of my card.

I then die cut the rainbow and grass.  I colored the rainbow with markers and the grass with oxide ink twisted Citron, I adhere them to my front panel.

I wanted to give this happy card a little of sparkle, to achieve that I glue small iridescent star sequins... the trick to adhere this small sequins is to use a fine tip glue bottle so you apply the smallest amount of glue posible.  (I left the space to stamp the sentiment, this is important I almost forgot this step)...

To finish this happy card I adhere the sweet boy at the end of the rainbow with 3D foam squares.

I hope you like this card design because you can use it with different characters from the Kindred Stamps Collections.

Have a Wonderful Day!
