June 2018 Kindred Stamps Release!!!

Hello Friends, today I am super excited to introduce you to one of the new and totally cool new stamp set from the Kindred Stamps June Release:  Detention Friends... I love this set and I created two fun school inspired cards with this Friends.  You will love this new set.

CARD DETAILS #1:

For card #1 I created a classroom, I found this cream cardstock that totally reminds me of a classroom I was in a looong time ago!  I cut the board with the Silhouette Cameo, I resize it so it can look good with the characters.  With white embossing powder I embossed one of the sentiments from the set.  (This guy totally deserves detention)  I color the floor with faded jeans oxide ink and color the boy and girl with markers.

CARD DETAILS #2:

For this two rebels I wanted to create a scene on the lockers... Again with the silhouette cameo I resize and cut 5 lockers to create the background for this friends, I glue them one beside the other and use black cardstock for some open areas.  I adhere the boys infront of the lockers and I added the sentiment in one corner.

I have to say I had so much fun with this cute Friends creating little school scenes, I hope I inspire you to use your electric cutting machine to create little scenes for all the Kindred Stamps characters.

The other sets coming out are so cute and I hope you enjoy them too!! As always, make sure you hop along with the blog hop to be entered into the drawing for a $10 store credit.  Please come join us at the Kindred Stamps Fan Club to see fun all month long and share your projects too!!

Rainbow Boy!

Hello Kindred Stamps Fans, Waleska from craftinglovew here to share with you a very sweet and colorful card with one of the many stamps that come in the "Of to See the Wizard" stamp set... This adorable boy is ready to make someone smile.

CARD DETAILS:

I started with the background for my card, I choose three of my favorite colors of Oxide Inks, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers, this colors look great together and went well with the rest of my card.

I then die cut the rainbow and grass.  I colored the rainbow with markers and the grass with oxide ink twisted Citron, I adhere them to my front panel.

I wanted to give this happy card a little of sparkle, to achieve that I glue small iridescent star sequins... the trick to adhere this small sequins is to use a fine tip glue bottle so you apply the smallest amount of glue posible.  (I left the space to stamp the sentiment, this is important I almost forgot this step)...

To finish this happy card I adhere the sweet boy at the end of the rainbow with 3D foam squares.

I hope you like this card design because you can use it with different characters from the Kindred Stamps Collections.

Have a Wonderful Day!

CARD #2 DETAILS:

For my next card I use the Bee Girls, I started ink blending the background with oxide inks in colors Squeezed Lemonade and Cracked Pistachio, I add some fleeks of water.  I die cut the flowers and pots with different cardstock colors.  I colored the cute bees with markers and tuck them inside the pots.  I add the sentiment with versafine ink on top of the card base.

Kindred Stamps April Release Blog Hop featuring Family is Forever

Hello Friends, today I am super excited to introduce you to one of the new and adorable Stamp sets from the Kindred Stamps April Release:  Family is Forever... I love this little girl and friend enjoying the sun and beach that I created not one but three cards showcasing this amazing new set.

CARD #1  DETAILS:

I started creating the background for this cute friends, I almost always like to use two or three tones on my cards to have a harmonic effect.  I wanted to create a beach scene with warm tones, to do that I used oxide inks in colors, squeezed lemonade and worn lipstick.  I then stamped and color the cute girl and friend with markers.  I color the sea water with salty ocean oxide ink and some water splashes, for the palm tree and sand I used kraft cardstock  and for the palm leaves I used oxide ink cracked pistachio.

I finally added some white clouds and stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set OHANA!! I have to say I am in love with this cute couple of friends you can use for many occasions and for many different scene cards.  I hope you can be inspired to create something amazing with the new Kindred Stamps Family is Forever stamp set.

CARD #2 DETAILS:

For my card #2 I cut a white card base and smooshed the lightest oxide ink color Squeezed Lemonade after that I also smoosed Worn Lipstick and Salty Ocean mixed with water.  I colored a bunch of tropical leaves with Cracked pistachio Oxide ink and for the flowers I used markers as well as with the cute little girl I finally stamped the word ALOHA and added some sequins.

CARD #3 Details

I again used the same colors to create a little scene, I cut an oval from the white card base to be the window and adhere it to the back of the card also with the waves.  I colored the cute little girl and friend and adhere a bunch of leaves colored again with  Cracked Pistachio.  I adhere the characters with foam tape and add a little bit of shine with sequins.
