DECO FOIL + STENCILS

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a blog hop at the Brutus Monroe blog featuring a product or technique of the week!,  This week we will be featuring stencils and  the  new  Brutus Monroe and Decofoil line of foils. As you already noticed this new foils are very unique and there are many ways to use them.  Today I want to pair them with one of my favorite Brutus Monroe flower stamps and transfer gel ...

CARD DETAILS:

To start this card I created the stenciled accent with the Brutus Monroe Polka stencil, Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Sunrise Foil to a white card base.  I cut a base of Lunch Bag  cardstock and adhere it to a white card base.  I also adhere the foiled piece to the corner of the card.   To finish this card I added a stamped image of the Conservatory Quotes flower arrangement I embossed with gilded embossing powder to go along with the beautiful foil.  To unify the look of the card I put some heat to the embossed image and use a piece of left over foil to adhere foil here and there on the flowers.

I put double sided tape to the flower arrangement and adhere it to the card base and add the sentiment with the same embossing powder.

Hello Friends welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe Stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a Blog Hop at the Brutus Monroe Blog featuring a product or technique of the week!  This week we continue to showcase the new Brutus Monroe and Decofoil line of foils and new toner sheets.  This new line is super amazing and unique you really need to check it out!!! For my project today I am using one of the clear toner sheets called Coffee Rings that also look like bubbles.

CARD DETAILS:

To create this card I cut the Coffee Rings clear toner sheet in half to create the card base and foil it with Jade Deco Foil.  I then create another card base from white cardstock and ink it to create the water look.  I color the images with markers and adhere the foiled clear toner sheet and the white card base together, so I could have a clear flap on the front.  I adhere the merman to the foiled sheet and the fishes on the white card base.   To finish I stamped the mermaid from the same stamp set Mermaid Lagoon inside the card with Oz surface ink.

There are so many amazing projects you can do using this clear sheets, hop along with us and don´t miss the Design Team projects usign this new product this week!!! Be inspired by this talented ladies:

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a blog hop at the Brutus Monroe blog featuring a product or technique of the week!,  This week I am very excited to continue using the new Brutus Monroe and Decofoil line of foils.  This new foils are very unique and there are many ways to use them.  Today I want to use the new clear toner sheets to decorate a gift box.  It was very easy to decorate this gift box, and it looks awesome.

PROJECT DETAILS:

To decorate this gift box, I used the new clear toner sheets and the beautiful Tidepool foil.
The Toner Sheets come in a pack of four 2 in white and 2 clear sheets.  I measuere the top of the box, cut the square and foil it with tidepool on my minc machine.  I used acrilic paint to color the top of the box, and with gold brads I secure the foiled clear sheet in the four corners.  It looks beautiful with the other color showing in the back of the foil and reflecting all the colors.  You can add some beautiful ribbon or add the amazing  Brutus Monroe 3D looking decorative diecut bows.

New Brutus Monroe and Deco Foil Collaboration!!!!

Hello Friends Welcome back for another Wednesday Project...using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, every Wednesday you can find a blog hop at the Brutus Monroe blog featuring a product or technique of the week!,  This week is very exciting because of the new Brutus Monroe and Decofoil line of foils.  This new foils are very unique and there are many ways to use them.  Today I want to use the new foils and some toner sheets to foil die cut images... This technique is very easy and the results look amazing.

CARD #1

To create this card I used Brush Strokes Toner sheets and Tidepool Foil.  I first foiled the card front and then, I ink blend the up and down part.  I know they are brush strockes but they also look like raindrops, so that was exactly my inspiration.  I die cut from a toner sheet two big clouds and then foil them with the same foil.  The sentiment and card base are on black for a more interesting look.

CARD #2

To create this card I did the same as the first card,  I first die cut the images and them I foil them. For this card I used Drybrush foil to give texure to the trees and I ink blend the back so it can look like a forest night.  For this trees I did not use toner sheets to transfer the foil, What I did was I apply Embossing ink and Iclicle embossing powder to the die cut trees and when the heat gets in contact with the melted embossing powdeder it helps foil to stick beautifully.

Aren´t all this products from the new collection amazing???? Hop along with us at the Brutuss Monroe blog and don´t miss the Design Team projects usign some of this new products this week!!! Be inspired by this talented ladies:

Embossed Foiled Card Accents/Brutus Monroe and ThermOweb Week!!

Hello Friends, Thank you for stopping by my blog for another Wednesday Quick Tip using Brutus Monroe stamps and products, this week is special because this week Brutus Monroe is collaborating with ThermOweb, and both Design Teams have created amazing projects featuring lots of techniques and products....  You can find the blog hop at the Brutus Monroe Blog.   My projects today will have lots of shine and foil... I went a little overboard and have many cards to share with you!  Today is all about sets of cards... because we always need a THANK YOU card on hand!!!

CARD DETAILS:

Have you ever wonder if you can foil embossed cards? well the answer is YES!!! For my cards today I did a little experiment and love the end result....
I started embossing several white card bases with some of my favorite Brutus Monroe Embossing Folders, I then ink blend the embossed white card bases with Oz Surface ink.
With a sponge I put a thin amount of transfer gel onto the panels and let them dry.  I really try to get into the embossed areas to have a smooth foiled background.  After they were dry I run them into my Minc Machine.

After I created the foiled embossed panels I cut them and adhere them to a white panel and then to a black card base, I love the look of them, on some designs you can see the Oz surface ink color, like on the wild cherry foil and with other foil colors the ink blends perfect with them.  I used Jade Foil and Gold Shattered Glass.

I added the thank you sentiment in black to match the card base.

Aren´t this just beautiful!!! I love the simple, yet elegant look of the emboss and foil......

For my next project I used Clear Designer Toner sheets, this are beautiful to create all kinds of cards....I don't know you, but I love all my foiling sheets that I don't want to waste any of it so for my next set of cards I used both the foiled clear toner sheet and the remaining.

To adhere the Foiled clear toner sheets and remaining foil to the card base I used a little of the Brutus Monroe craft glue in the top and bottom, and to cover the glue, I cut a small strip of cardstock and glue it on top of the foiled pieces.

I did the same thing with the rest of the cards and for the thank you sentiments I used ThermOweb toner sheets to create the different color thank you dies.

I had so much fun creating this two sets of cards, that are now ready in my stash to give to someone special!
