Stitched Sunflowers Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends, I hope your day is great! Today I want to share with you a card I created using a die in a different way.  I love finding new ways to use the dies I already own, and in the card I created for you today I used a technique I am currently obsessed with Stitching on cards.  Even though this flower die included on the Slimline Fairy House Add on die was not intended for that I managed to do some stitching, let me share with you how I did it.

This is the die and it comes with some little holes, well I used those holes for stitching to add a different detail to the flower.  I first die cut the piece in two colors white and brown, I stitched the flower with a yellow Embroidery Floss, I then inked the stitched flower with Mustard Seed Oxide ink and adhered the center of the flower.

For the cardbase I used kraft cardstock and in the center of the flowers I used kraft cardstock too inked with Vintage Photo Oxide ink.

I created a focal point in the up part of the cardbase with white cardstock, I added a yellow strip above and below of this piece and adhered the stitched flowers and some leaves from the Assorted Leaves Metal Dies I also stamped the sentiment and added some gems.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you give this idea a try!  Have a wonderful day!

Rainbow Flowers Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here! I hope your day is going great!  Today I wanted to share a slimline card I created with the Whimsical Layering Daisies Die... can I just say I am obssesed with this die!!! it makes the most fun and whimsical flowers!  This time I made some rainbow colored flowers, I hope you like my card and can be inspired by it!

CARD DETAILS:  I started by diecutting six flowers from one of the many different flowers that come on this set with white cardstock.  I then used some small brushes to put color on each of the flowers starting from the center, I always try to leave some white parts to make them look more interesting.  I then cut the center of the flowers and colored them with  Y00 copic marker I added Chunky Glitter on each of the centers too.

I then cut the stems with white cardstock and with a green marker I colored them.  I cut a black panel of cardstock and started adhering all the flowers going in rainbow order.  I then adhere this piece to a cardbase and added the sentiment!  Super fun and easy card to make!

I love this cute set! I hope you like my card today and can be inspired to create some rainbow flowers! Remember this and many other amazing products you can find on the Scrappy Tail shop!  Have a great weekend!

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting the Whimsical Layering Daisies dies in white cardstock, I wanted to create a beautiful color combo for this daisies so I googled and search for my inspiration, at the end I decided to use this as my inspiration:

Some beautiful orange and pink daisies.  To recreate this tones I used oxide inks in colors  Dried Marigold and Picked Raspberry. I started in the center with the picked raspberry and the inked the rest of the flower trying to blend this two colors together.
I then die cut the stems and colored them with oxide ink Twisted Citron and adhere them to the flowers.  The center pieces of my flowers I colored them with copic marker Y15 and add them Lawn Fawn Chunky Glitter for some sparkle.

For the background of my card I used Stormy Sky Oxide ink and some water splashes.  I adhere all the flowers to make them look like they are all on a field full of daisies and finally I added some sequins for even more sparkle.

I hope you like my card today and can be inspired by it! Let the inspiration begin!

Rainbows and Poppies for Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends, Waleska here excited to be with you again for another fun tutorial using Scrappy Tail Products...Today I will be creating with the beautiful new Popping Poppies Stamp Set, I hope you like it!

CARD DETAILS:

I started by cutting stripes of different colors of cardstock, I went for a rainbow look today.

I then adhered the stripes to a front card panel and cut the excess from the sides.  For my second card I did the same thing but I also added some gold glitter cardstock between each color of cardstock.

I embossed the beautiful heart with poppies on translucent vellum with white and gold embossing powders, with this image I wanted to create a focal point on my card.

I finally adhered the vellum pieces to the center of my rainbow striped cards using glossy accents and I finally added the sentiments on black cardstock I also added some gems.

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Remember to check out the newest release from Scrappy Tail Crafts at the shop!

Outlined Tulip Layered dies from Scrapppy Tails Crafts

Hello Friends, Waleska here excited to be sharing some time with you!  Also excited to be creating with the newest release for my card today I used the beautiful Outlined Tulip Assortment Two Layered Dies, I hope you like it!

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting the tulips and the stems in two different shades of pink and green cardstock, in dark and  light tones, after that I used Oxide Inks in colors Picked Raspberry to shade the pink tulips in the bottom part and Rustic Wilderness for the stems.

I then worked on the card base, for the card base I die cut a circle as the focal point and I used Oxide ink Peacoack Feathers to shade the up part of it.  For the card base I used the same color but shade it at the bottom, I did some water splashes with a fine brush and let it dry.

I finally adhered the circle die cut to the center of the card base and start assemble the tulips.  I adhere the tulips with 3D Foam squares.  I stamp the sentiment from the Popping Poppies Stamp set to a black strip of cardstock.  I finally splatter some gold watercolor and added some gold sequins.
