Spread your Wings/ Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends! I hope your day is great, today I wanted to share with you a lovely card with the new beautiful Layering Spring Birds I love them they are very realistic and easy to assemble.

PROJECT DETAILS:

For my card today I wanted to create a realistic scene with two adorable birds.  I started by die cutting the birds with white cardstock and adding color with Oxide Inks in colors Mustard Seed and Uncharted Mariner I added some details with copic markers too.  I then die cut some greenery from the Assorted Christmas Leaves and color them with Mowed Lawn and Peeled Paint Oxide Inks.

I adhered my scene to a light blue panel and I used the same oxide ink I used for the birds to add some color.  For the card base I used a white and kraft cardstock.  I finally added the sentiment and some watercolor splashes.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope this inspires you to create something today! Have a great rest of your day!

Cockatoo pop up Vase/Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends Waleska Galindo here sharing with you today a 3D project using the new A7 Four Sided Trapeze Pop Up die ,the lovely Cockatoo Metal die and the Tropical Leave Assortment dies which are from the newest June Die Collection this dies are so versatile and fun you willl love them.

PROJECT DEATAILS:
I started by die cutting the two pieces to create the vase and the pieces to decorate too.  I first adhered the decorating pieces and then started to assemble the vase.  HERE is the video where Sabrina shares how to assemble this fun A7 Trapeze shaped pop up vase.

After I assembled the vase I started die cutting the cockatoo pieces with the two colors I used for the vase (I wanted all to coordinate) I also die cut some tropical leaves in the same color of green cardstock I used before.  I added some ink to the green pieces with Lucky Clover Oxide ink to give more dimension to these pieces and finally started assembling this decor piece.

I just love how this looks, this would be a great summer present for a bird lover friend or a piece of decoration on your home.  Thank you so much for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Using Small Stamped Images

Hello Friends today I wanted to share a very cute card showing you how you can use some of the small images that come on most of your stamp sets, I find that this small images can help you create some quick and simple cards, and because they are small stamps you even save time on the coloring...

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today I started with the background... Have you check out the amazing new Cloudy Sky Stencil? It is amazing to create a quick and beautiful skys, to color it I used Oxide Inks in colors Blueprint Sketch, Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio, I die cut this piece with the largest of the Fancy Frame dies.

I decided to use one of my favorite stamp sets called Special Delivery, this set has some cute critters and lots of mail related small images, I choose some letters in different sizes and a little birdie to create my card today.

After I colored my little birdie, I cut and adhere all the small stamped images with 3D Foam, I also adhere some small sequin stars and I stamp the sentiment to a banner.

Now is your turn, look for those small stamps on your stamp sets and create quick and fun cards!

Have a wonderful day!
