Sweet Easter Eggs with Scrappy Tail

Hello Friends Waleska here with a very sweet and pastel card using the Spring Essentials Metal dies, this die set comes with 20 dies that you can use to create beautiful spring and easter cards let me share with you how I created this card today.

CARD DETAILS:

For my card today I wanted a Clean and Simple look so I created a focal point on the center of my card using one of the eggs that come in this die set, one thing I really like about this eggs is that they come with two layers so I started by diecutting three eggs with both layers and I inked this pieces with the following oxide inks: Salvaged Patina, Kitsch Flamingo and Mustard Seed and the back pieces with the same colors too.

I then adhered this two layers together alternating the 3 colors.  I inked a piece of white cardstock with Salvaged Patina on the edges so all the colors can coordinate.  I also inked another piece smaller than the other starting in the center with Distress Oxide Ink in color Shaded Lilac I also added some sparkle to this piece and I finally adhered everything together and also added the sentiment from Fairy Sentiments and some sequins.

Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you have a great day! Please remember to be happy and crafty!

Easter Eggs - Scrappy Tail Crafts

Hello Friends, Waleska here to share with you some card ideas...   My project, today is all about Easter, is it too early what do you think? I used some new fun dies from the latest Release.  You can find this dies many other beautiful products at the Scrappy Tails Shop.

CARD DETAILS:

I started by die cutting the eggs from the Spring Essentials Metal Dies from white cardstock.  To color this eggs I wanted to use some spring colors, to do that I used  Nuvo Shimmer Powders in colors: Solar Flare, Violet Brocade and Atlantis Burst.  I put a little of this powders and add them some water, a little goes a long way with this powders, and color the eggs, the eggs look so fun with this colors mixed together.

I then added some of this same color powders to a white card base and used this piece to create two cards.

I added the colored eggs to the cards, I used foam tape to raise the eggs and finally I added the sentiment with gold cardstock and some sequins.

I love how this two cards turned out and the soft colors give this card a total Easter feel.

Thank you so much for joining me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Remember to stay safe and stay crafty and don't forget to visit the Scrappy Tail Crafts Shop!
